Clutch pipe / TOB HEADACHE

So I’ve got a 08 cobalt brand new LDK block, z54 turbo, full bolt ons , and a performance autowerks stage 2 lsd 4.05 transmission. Literally drove it twice and my cold side pipe came off when hitting approx 15-20 psi of boost . I’m on 28-30 psi. The car started bogging out then cut off I pushed it home , I was really close . Then seen the pipe and put it back on. The car is leaking dot 3 fluid I doubt it’s all related lol I’m just giving the whole scoop . But it’s not leaking from the quick disconnect on top of the trans . I would have to assume it is leaking from where it connects to the TOB or maybe the TOB is leaking it itself .. that is also a new part with 250 miles on it . I have a spacer on the TOB because I have a southbend stage 4+ and findaza flywheel as well. I have done just about everything to this car far as performance/ replacing parts. New struts,D&S rotors, back shocks, and breaks . I’ve pulled the motor and trans multiple times and I’m jus choking this up to take it to a shop . I love working on cars but dayum I just put it all back together and I am simply just too busy to do it right now, especially since it’s dark as hell when I get off work . Jus thought I’d share my frustrations with my build haha 🤣

I never took it off so I don’t know how . I disconnected the line and pulled it threw . Maybe it got damaged ? But I don’t see anything leaking on the top of the trans around the connector . Like the plastic sleeve around it is slightly raised I didn’t seat the sleeve all the way . And On top of this I drove the car a couple times before this happened . That’s what’s weird

If it leaks from there, the fluid goes straight into the bellhousing. You won't see anything on top. I suggested it first because 1) it's most likely the culprit, and 2) it's really easy to check and fix.

we just ran into the issue where the seal from the old clutch pipe was stuck in the elbow, so there were 2 seals. It leaked like hell

Then you likely have two seals on there. Seen it a million times on here.

Either that or you blew out the TOB and the leak is small enough to where u can drive it for a bit before it loses pressure.

yeah what these guys said. when I removed my tob seal i punctured it and didn't realize it until after it was all back together (reused 15k mile tob and clutch pipe), and leaked like hell. thought it was something I did. just the seal. when I did the tob with the new trans I made sure that the block was empty and the seal was on correctly.

I’m thinking I blew the tob, Idk but I did make sure everything was clean and seated well but I guess anything is possible . I haven’t got to messing with it for the last 2 days . I looked threw the hole with the cover off while it was running and had someone press the clutch in and let go . Repeat. All I could see was oil in the bottom of bellhousing and the tob spitting small specs of oil . Couldn’t tell if it was coming from up top more likely the connection to the tob or that itself popped.

If you have a gopro you can aim it at the clutch pipe and see if that's where it's leaking from.
