The issues have been worked out I hope lol but if they aren't that's what the warranty is for. Im just ready for some more power

 

how much does it cost to have the computer reflashed? if any one knows

 

It's not a given that you will need a new clutch.

Tune will run you maybe $200 to 400ish depending on who you go with. Probably closer to the low end.

 

im hoping i can just pay my buddy who works at the dealership,on the side and he can reflash it.

 

I have no idea price for the GMS1 reflash.

 

i thought ive read on here its around 100 to 300 but was just trying to see if anyone knew who had GMS1 installed

 

Glad to hear everything is cleared up for now, and I know you don't need a clutch, but with it he can make more power out of the custom tune, also I heard around the same for the flash, I can ask my buddy who has the gms1 and see if he knows

 

a lil off topic question but, is it true ur car learns ur mods quicker if u disconnect the battery?

 

My dealer quoted me 95 bucks to do just the flash.

Why don't you ask your local dealer how much he'll charge?

 

Ya my friend said install and flash was 200 so it will prolly be at least half of that, the battery question I personally unhook it when I do parts, but if you had the gms1 flash with them on your fine

 

yea,custom tune is 10x better than GMS1 but i just need my warranty atleast since there has been some things to go wrong. yea,i called my buddy who works at the dealership and he said he wasnt sure,he didnt know if he was going to have to call GM or something idk,not too worried about it. im sure it cant be anything to rediculous.

i hope to order GMS1 from CEDwith in the next couple weeks,its only a couple sensors and stuff so i should have it by the end of the week if i order it at the beginning/middle. not sure when to install the parts along with GMS1 since its winter here but a very mild winter (lows in the upper teens and 20s with highs of 30-40 degrees)

 

I ordered from CED last Friday afternoon and it was sitting on my doorstep today!

 

awesome man! the dealership i go to for work said they would price match CED but they dont some with the pig tails so i def will be ordering it from CED.

 

anyone have any dyno numbers with bolt ons?

i cant wait to put my mods on and expecially my intake. ive been staring at it in my bedroom for about 2 months now lol

 

CED does on the review section of the part I believe, most I think were with a dp and intake were in the 290's range to the wheels, yes indeed mild winter is cool with me

ive read all those reviews and stuff. everyone seems pretty postive about GMS1 so now i just get to play the waiting game lol

I hear ya, you can race your car on the track! For two days or take it for a driving tour on the track or just spectate, you can also ride with people who are racing theirs but you must have a helmet and wear pants its pricey to race but a group from here go and a group from chicago we talk to as well, will be my first year finally going its sat and sun april 28-29 cost is 5 to spectate n 60 for tour session 260 a day to race or I believe 450 for both days

You had said you had rough cold start issues what did they say it was?

 

still havent figure it out. it makes the noise still but it is 10x quieter and not nearly as bad sounding as it sounded before. had the dealership replace the timing chains/tensioners/nuts bolts/timing chain guides. then after all of that (3 seperate trips and they kept my car for about 2 weeks each time) me and my buddy who works at the dealership were sitting there talking and he said when was the last time the oil was changed and i had changed it about a month before i brought the car in for the first time for the noise. so me and my buddy are sitting at the dealership talking and he checked the oil filter for some odd reason and the oil filter was crushed and twisted so not sure if this noise was due to the oil filter being crushed and twisted or what lol good thing i didnt have to pay for it lol

 

should i put mods on first and the GMS1 sensors,then go to the dealership to get reflashed or should i get GMS1 put on then go home and put the mods on?

i heard someone say unplug you battery while installing mods
