GMS1 with bolt ons.
To the best of my knowledge not EVERY modification will cause a warranty to be voided... for instance, headers should not void a warranty. What they will do is prolly not warranty any failures that can be associated to the installation of the headers.
From what I understand, if the ECM has been modified, then the warranty can be voided.

It has to be proven beyond resonable doubt that the aftermarket part casued the failure as stated in federal law, I did my research on this before I did any work on my car, also vinces tunes don't trip our computer so if your worried about any issues with it have the dealer you purchased from put you back to stock before you take it in for any warrenty work done it or flash it back to stock if you have the program and cable if your worried about them testing the car, that's I went with vince and his tune and decided to sell them.

Q & A with Bill Duncan GMPP
"Q. As some have been in search for.. is the "learn down" feature really "completely" removed? Or, has the levels been moved higher to allow for an increase in hp/tq? Some are finding that after the GMPP Stage I kit and have added other aftermarket bolt-ons that the increases in power are not entirely there. Looking forward to Stage II. I am in hope for a Stage III. Which would be a fullout race stage and would probably not covered under warrenty. SS/SC's have the option, what about the LNF SS/TC?
A. The learn-down feature is totally turned off in the stage 1 tune. However, the turbo overspeed safeties are still turned on. This is calculating what the turbine speed and will not allow the turbo to exceed the manufacturers declared maximum turbine speed. The tune will do whatever it take to ensure the turbos safety.
Also, on another note, it has been my experience that if you purchased multiple bolt-ons each claiming HP gains, the total hp gain never adds up to the sum of all the claimed hp gains by the various component manufacturers."

Yes, super easy to install.
I may have ground a little too much on the sensor though...
Not sure, I guess we'll see how it goes after the tune. I got to where I could see a real small piece of metal. I think I took it too far.
I installed it all from the top, but I think the sensor in the cold pipe would be easier to get to if the car was jacked up.
Here is a pic of the sensor...

At the shop now. Not sure they've ever done one there. Mentioned something about having to get an email from GM for the tune..
I told them I think it's all based on the paperwork that CED sent me. It had a part # for the tune. I'll keep you guys updated.
Just called and said it's done. I'll prolly go get it at lunch.
