Help! No Boost!
My car will not boost more than about 3-4 PSI. I have GMS1, catted DP and an upper boost Tube.
This first happened a week ago. From the moment I pulled out of the parking lot at work to go home I noticed something was wrong. After I got home, I looked it over (checked boost tube) and didn't see any problem. I let it sit for about an hour then took it for a drive and it was back to normal! A week went by without any issues and then the exact same thing happened again today.
The only thing I can think of that may have triggered it was that I moved the car in the middle of the day so it didn't have a chance to warm up all the way before I shut it off. I have no idea why that would cause a problem though.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to take it into the dealer that installed the GMS1 kit Tuesday if it continues to do this. I hope it's not related the the DP or boost tube.

Either one/both of those OR a GM TMAP sensor not seated properly (not likely). The MAF unit is seated on your Intake tube may be having problems as well.
Man, I can't believe how many problems people are getting with these bolt ons. In theory, they should be great additions, but this car does NOT take a liking to these mods. I had all kinds of stuff on my Camry SC.....intake... downpipes...catbacks..no problem. I won't put ANY bolt ons on this car...period. I know a lot of people have 'em on..fine and dandy and I wish them well. They can *deal* with the issues that come with them. Like I've been saying here...you can just tune this car stock and get a damn fast car....300WHP. I'd rather put on handling mods anytime. I hope you find the problem.

I just checked it. It's a little loose. Is there anything else in particular that would indicate that it was not installed properly? I see that it's only held on by one screw.
Thanks for the help.
The problem is that it comes and goes (with no in between). I'm afraid that they won't be able to replicate the problem. No dash lights come on, but I wonder if it throws any codes when it happens.

my sensor seemed a little flimsy but the bolt is tight.....What gives? i was thinking of throwing a couple zip ties on it to pull it tight to see if thats the issue. Wonder if it would work?
yeah i know....mine has been in, and has threw a couple codes......

You can use a larger o-ring and make sure they shaved the boss off the sensor that keeps it from seating flush. If the screw is stripped, use a larger self tapping one and some sealer on the screw like RTV.
There's a good chance they didn't even use the right o ring. The new one is big and fatter. I forget what color it is. Blue maybe? The stock one is green I think. The the thing is to shave the boss like everyone is saying.
I had this same issue took it to the dealer they said that nothing was wrong with my car or course I had no CEL or anything.....car acts stupid from time to time turbo flutters and wont boost past 5 PSI....from what I have researched it seems like everyone with the GSM1 has this issue!
