At almost 50k miles, the tires have probably been replaced twice. The clutch may be on its last leg.
I saw a 2009 SS Turbo advertised for a good price at 20k miles. I knew not to buy it because the front lip was gray like it was installed yesterday and not painted and all four tires were new. That and it had pink paint all over the trim.
Someone beat on it horribly.
I have a feeling for these things... I work on cars all goddamn day. =p

Call up Brent... In San Diego, the car is stock and has some aftermarket wheels. Its red... 619-840-0028. I'm not sure of mileage or anything. He recently replaced the HPFP as well his stocker went out on him and his warranty was out. It's a pretty clean car, I have seen it and from what I remember it looks good.

a lot of dealers will sell cars at auctions if they have been modded a friend of mine traded his SS in with extremely low miles and the dealer didn't even put it on the lot because he had catback and front mount and a bunch of other bolt ons.
Forgot about you man. If you still want me to take a look, I'll be free Thursday morning. I've done some used car appraisals, though not lately, help a lot of people with car purchases, and of course drive an SS/TC, so I should be some help. Shoot me a PM if you're still interested. Personally, from what I've seen so far I'd pass unless they'll go lower on the price. Like $12-12.5k. But I'd need to see more.
