not so embarrasing? f*ck that... what's embarrasing is that a guy in a $60k+ car can barely hang with a $20K car where is the embarrasment other than **** talkers who say it's "just a cobalt" i love those guys haha

And one of the others was damn near 4300 too.. 4280 if I recall.. the car still has power and the power to weight ratio is still slightly better, but it still goes.. from a roll, it'll be alot closer than alot of you guys think. He probably will get pulled on, but he's not going to be totally Destroyed. If he had more mods, like Dart or a few others, hell I'd even give it a go, might surprise alot of you folks on here. I already beat a C6 from a roll; didn't pull on me until 145 mph when he finally caught up and that car has 380whp if I recall correctly and weighs around 3000 lbs.

yea i pulled on a c6 as well... cars are slow... i got about 2 lengths 40-120.

yeah? lmao... atleast the auto on a roll is slow... my friends dad has one... and every once in a while he takes it out and races us... he lost to me from a 40 roll... and a ls1 trans am (heavily modded), and the new 5.0 mustang, also modded. intake. intake mani. full exhaust and tune.

Well the turn of the thread is that a cobalt could hang with a Zl1, a Zl1 is faster than a 11 GT500 by over 3 mph trap and over half a sec in the quarter. SO reading comprehension is that a cobalt can beat / hang with a 2011 GT500.
So maybe you should take some reading comprehension classes before you try to tell me to learn to read.

A ZL-1 as in Camaro? They're only 580 horse and weigh 2 tons! Who said they ran 11's? I've only seen them hit low to mid 12's... I know they'll come hard off the line, but it's moving a bloody battleship. I think you can take him from a roll, in his stock form that is.

i bet dart si has a much better chance of being extremley close to a zl1... but this thread is only about me.

The 12.1-12.5 seems to be the average et. 113-117 seems to be the avg trap speed. If you can get your car to the 119-120 range I am positive youd win.

Here ya go.. this is at my track in my town at our elevation and from what I've seen, most of our numbers are much lower than what people have posted from the states. Cars seem to be almost 1 second slower and I don't really know why.
