i think knight saw a zl1 in at castrol edmonton fail badly, so he thinks he has a chance.....
no disrespect buddy, but if that doofus could drive he shoulda got a 12.xx not a 13.3 and a 13.6.
even at our elevation and bad air. im guessing 12.4 with driver mod.
my camaro ran 11's on street tires (41psi) last night.
i cant wait to line up against one.

Well, if you're running 11's (I didn't see you there btw, I was there same night), you've done your sc on your own and most likely other mods and I'm sure you're also tuned. The ZL-1 is completely stock and supposedly runs 12.4's in the Usa. 5.0 Mustangs also run 12.xxx in the Usa, but I've yet to see one dip into the 12's here at our track. Apparently that 2013 white Boss did get a 12.96@112 which is still comparable to my car. The driver of that particular ZL-1 I do believe sucks, but only in the 1st-2nd shift.. I didn't see/hear any other mistakes or granny-shifting afterwards; if they're as fast as they're supposed to be, he should have some good top-end charge like I do. I reel in damn near everything I'm up against.. if I get the jump off the line, there's no catching me unless it's a damn fast street car. I beat an LS3 Vette at the track on June 1st as well; he didn't gain an inch that I could see.

Not to make any excuses, cuz I don't really need any for the night I was at the track(only lost 1 race all night), but I had my car appraised at a Ford dealer in the city to see about trading to a 5.0 and they bottomed out and cracked my radiator. They fixed it up, but my charge pipes weren't installed correctly and were creating false knock rubbing against my valve cover, fan, and another location. I fixed that just yesterday and it's running much better now.

Anyways, I still think a Stock ZL-1 isn't going to be much quicker than a fully bolted and tuned SS/TC. Maybe a little, but not by much. And if you run vs a ZL-1, you will DESTROY it It won't even be close.. you're better off going up against a 2013 Shelby! Hell, if I had the money, I'd buy one and take you on right off the dealer lot haha! I'm sure it'd be a good race. Hope to cya at the track someday.. would like to see your Camaro that you got and did up
