It will be, you just have to remember it was a used car and unless you had someone that really took care of it which is unlikely now adays. There will be these little things that require some TLC.

It definitely wasn't treated the best by the last few owners .... Flippen oil changes were done at a Ford
I'll be checking every aspect as well as swapping springs.

quality pads aren't a requirement, I threw on ebay brakes and rotors uh almost 2 years ago maybe? maybe more. they're still on there. pads are wearing evenly. rotors are in poor shape but it's winter, it can wait. my dad did them but I told him, lube the slide pins well. and after replacing ebrake cables and new brakes and everything it's been mint. going to go with oem in spring though.

just checked rockauto, for ~$170 you can get OEM LNF pads and rotors.

Definitely helps to know that brakes won't be a fortune to replace.
