i would have bought an ms3, but a few things steered me away

- google ms3 smoking turbo, cx7 smoking turbo and ms6 smoking turbo, apparently you cant run a catless exhaust because the turbos seals go bad. but even stock the turbos burn oil

- the obvious solution would be... slap a bigger turbo on, oil leaks solved... but no, the motor cant handle mid size turbo upgrades, or rods go shootin off.

- the warranty is not nearly as beefy as GM's either

-absolutely no top end means "zoom zoom" is more like "zoom wow i better shortshift"

DSMs pretty much suck
1 and 2g GSX's are like handgrenades, evos are ok,

3000gts and stealths are THE biggest POS ever produced
see 20hr clutch jobs and rod knocking id rather drive a ******* kia

mitsubishi pretty much should stick to rear projection tvs' o wait those suck too
dodge could **** up a 1 car funeral with how crappy their transmissions and differentials
thanks for the variable valve timing in 2009... ******* idiots

the cruze concept came out already, and it looks like a bag of smashed ass. If it looked like above, I would agree with u big time.

U must not know much about tuners.

EVO's are the best tuner money can buy, much better than ur LNF. Also, the DSM talons and eclipse's were and still are amazing tuners. Think about it, Mitsu has been in the turbo 4banger world for much longer than any other automotive companies. If u honestly think ur LNF is better, u need to hop onto a EVO forum and get schooled. They run insane numbers with just a tune, and bolt ons.

YUP

500 whp on my DSM motor without ANY internals is very unreliable.

usually junk means poor quality. The powertrain in mine is bullet proof. I dont get it. U mean the interior?

O, so ur referring to the early to mid 90's mitsubishi's. The early eclipses and talons had those problems. I can assure you that EVO's really dont. Especially since mine is basically the same as the EVO X.

um you are comparing a old 4 banger to a new DI 4 banger that no one has really been able to tune much yet but hahn ? yeah...ok well once the LNF has been out long enough like the evo's engine then there may be some numbers to compare.

The ms3 engine isnt the worst, theres no set in stone reason why it blows up. Its done it on stock cars, lightly modded and heavily modded. but yes the solution is forged internals. But most think its the 350hp mark. there are some out there with over 300hp with no issues. Whats the need of having a car with over 350hp if you drive in twistes though? you'd be spinning tires anyway. the cobalt and ms3 stock are fantastic cars! Im now more concerned with handling than hp as its hard to keep my wheels from spinning as it is. Id really like to know if the 2010 ms3 has a "fix" for that issue. The whole smoking turbo, meh, bunch of people get it from poor install of a down pipe, bad seals with new downpipe or going catless. if you arent stupid it usually doesnt happen. bad turbo will cause it to but thats going to happen with any turbo car. of course you are going to hear of all the bad things more often than not, its not like i post up that my car runs great every week, only if something bad happens :P

explode the diff on a 9. I dare you. anywhere near stock power.

AWD cars have problems when people don't know how to drive them, no matter how reliable they are. The late 4g63 with MIVEC is a monster and quite reliable, as is the 5 speed.

Its built off the EVO X frame. Also the engine is very similar except larger displacement.
