New guy! Looking for all of your knowledge ;)
Hey guys! We'll I'm going to look at a 2009 cobalt SS sedan next week. I owned a 2001 cavalier back in the day as my first car. I loved it. Drove the shi* out of it and changed the oil in it. Never had an issue and sold it at 240000kms
I'm hoping these cobalt SS's are the same! So the car has 127000kms. The second owner bought it at 25000kms, put 100000 on it using it as his work vehicle/DD with his company and is now forced to sell it because it's five years old. It is completely stock (he is 46 years old) and is his daily driver, he also has all service records proving he always had Mobil 1 full synthetic oil changes and always ran premium in it. You guys think this car will last me a long time with few issues? I just want something fun to drive that's good on gas and reliable. I will be keeping it stock as well. I live in canada so it has been winter driven. Oh and the warranty work he's had done is both rear hubs were replaced a while ago and some tire pressure sensors. So what do you guys think? Are these engines and transmissions awesome in these vehicles?!

Thanks for the reply! Hmm I'm not sure if I should buy this car just because it already has 130000kms.. and I put on like 35000 a year.. I'd like to run run it for a couple years and that may be pushing it. By far my biggest concern is driving it in extreme cold. Sometimes it gets to minus 35C here. I have a feeling the plastic on intercooler, etc may become very brittle and be a big issue for me always breaking. And sensors probably don't like minus 30C either
