Post Oil Change Help

I have searched the "How To guide" section and i was not able to find one for a LNF oil change. I'm sure it's very simple however, i want cross all my T's and dot all my I's. Can someone provide me a link?

Thanks!

It's the same as the lsj one, but lnf's only need 5 quarts. Double check that number as it's off the top of my head, but the lsj uses some ridiculous amount of oil. Otherwise it's exactly the same. Jack car up, drain oil, remove and replace filter, fill.

open the filter cap first before you drain the oil.

You can make life easier by picking up the oil filter cap socket at an auto parts store. They're over by the oil filter wrenches and will say it's for Ecotecs in the description.

x2, get the socket and use an extension and it is easy peasy. Put the socket on the filter first and then attach your extension through the top.. http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-14700-Fi.../dp/B0009OMYAQ

If you have long arms you don't even need to jack the car up. I just reach from the passenger tire to drain the oil pan. 15mm is the drain plug size.

Any high grade synthetic is fine, whatever fits your fancy. I use Mobil 1, just because I always have and it is $22 for 5 quarts at Walmart. The manual has the ISO rating for syn oil, it says any equivalent is fine.
