Quirks/Ups and Downs of TC's
Only if you get a sunroof.
How many cobalts have you been in, one?

TC quirks?
Nothing mechanical...sometimes it is nice to get into my buddies LS and cruise because a) I am not driving and B) the suspension isn't as aggressive so it is a better ride, but that is expected.
Overall? Run premium in it, have a little fun every now and then and realize it is not a race car and it will do you right.

The TC suspension isnt too bad. I think it feels firm, yet nice.
Heres my take on this. I'm sure you will be very happy with your cobalt. Every car out there has quirks about it. Some more than others or there will be something you don't like about the car. I say get and enjoy because I know you will
camaros are ~3000-3400 LBS, depending on the car, cobalts are ~2900LBS for the SS/TC, the SS/TC with a tune makes 315WHP and 335 lb ft, so it depends on the gearing and traction really, and how much torque the camaro makes, as HP is only good for top speed past a certain point.
Yes from a dig You will never take an STI..........from a 40 roll stock for stock, I took one by half a car. They may be beasts but they lose so much through the AWD. Thats the only thing the WRX (and evo for that matter) have going for them. Make the SS/TC an AWD, give it 315hp and you have STI....lol
MS3
pros:
fun out of the box
lots of power
very nice interior
aftermarket available
good in corners
direct injected
cons:
crappy rods
big power = internals and turbo swap
boring looking exterior
hard to make tons of power as the after market is somewhat limited
SS/TC
pros:
good power to weight
great in corners
spool time is minimal ( small dual scroll TC )
direct injected
turbo upgrades are available
nice looking exterior
cons:
fuel system is limited
interior is chincey
not sure how much power can be made safely
big numbers havent been made yet
stock tc is small
Caliber SRT4
pros:
solid tranny, engine, clutch and internals
big turbo stock
6 speed
creature comforts
versatility and good snow driver
is capable and has made big numbers
cons:
ugly ( an acquired taste )
bad in corners
PCM is a ****
interior is chincey
stock performance is OK
It all really depends on what u want out of ur car. U want a good drag car, the CSRT4 is ur animal. U want an awsome overall performer that looks nice, and will be fun to drive the SS/TC is ur car. If u want a refined interior with gobs of TQ to boot and an equally performing twisty driver the MS3 is ur beast.

Its too new, Time will tell soon.........The LNF is a tough engine, I am sure High Numbers can be made, and as with most cars internal will be needed to produce high numbers. I'm sure the LNF can make over 400 easily with s bigger turbo, internals, and a sick tune...
The fuel system is not as limited as you may think.....Its direct injected, the only need is a aftermarket fuel pump.

I do remember talking with someone and them commenting on how the biggest problems with making big numbers was fueling issues.
Overall, I think its pretty accurate thus far.
