I had rather a dyno read low than high... honestly... a Mustang dyno is what I consider to be more legit numbers... to each their own

if you want a dyno to read low just give it a negative correction.

Also people forget, there are several different types of dynojets.

there are.. however the "normal" one isn't a load based.. on the whole mustangs usually read more accurate

Gotcha, the one I use is load based, now I see where you are coming from.

Lets not lump these into mustang dyno's and dynojets then, how about load based dyno's are more accurate. (248x)

They can even do a negative load to get est. crank hp.

I've emailed the technical department and asked them if they have an ETA for the 93 tune. Hopefully I will hear soon and when I do I will post it. I wonder how much of a difference in HP & TQ between the two...I wouldn't expect all that much, but any amount is good to me.

Less parasitic drag loss - don't they have different clutches/trannys than we do?

It is 94 and HUMID today, RPD still slaps to 300 and torque was still rockin 315ish, but after a couple back to to back spurts HP was around 270 and torque was 280's. IC may be a good upgrade. Still VERY HAPPY

hey drew did you have them send you a new tune because of your intake? How did you get 2 different 91 octane maps?

Maybe the cobalt GM flash is slightly less, because they wanted to market an intake as well and make the same numbers as the HHR. A money marketing ploy...DAMN THOSE COMMIE BASTARDS.

The HHR i believe has a 93 octane map, which were waiting on. Same clutch, same F35, same FE5, different body. Their airbox design is different, i know that much

If the Cobalt tune made the same power as the HHR my choice would be alot easier . I hope GM underated there stage 1 numbers Errr. Hell those HHR numbers are as good as lot of custom tunes.

Are Superchips gain's to the wheels ?

One is the old map, the other is the updated one downloaded from their site. Also the 2nd time I dyno'd I did the SC tune runs first, not after 2 stock runs.

I am going to see how this responds to slight mods now though, I just deleted my cat behind the 02 sensor (rear side.) and deleted my resonator. The car sounds mean and I drove it for 40 miles and no CEL. Torque comes on quicker and top end has increased, so I am expecting to see some gains here. Maybe 5 or 6 WHP.
