Superchips
Okay,
with this tune, will it learn up with bolt ons or will it still sit at the targeted 40whp and 56wtq? e.g. - downpipe
I know if you order the tirfecta tune and then add bolt ons, you need to retune, but with this tune, if you get the tune, install it stock and then add intake and DP, I can just hook up the tuner to the ecu?
I'm thinking this tune as well since it's more conservative and the warranty is nice!

I ordered direct. I noticed the dealers in my area but I felt more comfortable ordering direct...plus I dont feel like driving to any of those dealers ha ha. So i'll just wait till next week for my goodies to come in the mail!!
Like I said bolt-ons are welcome. They should have more tunes available later. I mean look at YaKko he has the superchips tune and a bunch of bolt-ons.

Also make sure you let your car warm up before driving it first thing in the morning, or it will run runny till you get to a good temp. My car did that stock though.
I'm on their website currently,
is this the tune you ordered that comes with the warranty? It says it does at the bottom.

and these 3#'s are only with 91 fuel?!?!
I'm so happy I have 93 octane around me!!!

run weak?
EDIT: I also like the fact that you can retune as more updates come out!

I'm guessing it's the tune that is specific to the SS/TC and the hand held device is semi-universal, right? I found a bunch of superchips dealers around me but I'm wondering how much of an issue it will be to find for my application..

yea, i don't understand why it is so much cheaper at all these other vendors for other vehicles.... its the same part number for all these GM vehicles 2950. So why couldnt I just buy the one for a Silverado, download latest software update, and tune my car? I guess they use a universal unit and sell it with different tunes on them... someone else mentioned this.
Yeh...but imagine doesnt help much right now considering we were all imagining GM would have released the stage kit by now too. I would like to see if they definately up the numbers before spending 400 dollars on a canned tuned. Do you know if superchips does any customizations? Like say when you add on boltons can it more customized for it? I know it accepts bolt-ons, but accepting is totally different than tuning for. Sorry for all the questions but inquiring minds want to know, lol.

I believe the cortex has 3 tunes loaded onto the same unit, and I also believe you can download new tunes to the unit as well via internet updates. Of course I could be wrong. Cortex has a youtube infomercial, just type cortex superchips into search bar.

Odds are the powertrain warranty they offer with it won't be used but the only real difference I could find is...$50...plus the Cortex one seems to be a little more like a dashhawk or something because it does record 1/4 mile runs and display vehicle information which is kind of a cool feature.
