Why are there lsj guys making 200wtq claiming they have the same tq steer issues as lnf guys? do you know what tq is? do you know what torque spikes are? OP, get aligned, get off your winter tires, and then check your control arm bushings. more than likely they're garbage and the alignment isn't helping. I have powell sphericals and a proper alignment and have no issues with tq steer. I've literally let go of the wheel driving and matted it, nothing. YYZ v5 fe5/koni powell tcabs. I did notice issues with one of my tires causing some weird pulling, I think a belt shifted. It's on the rear now and haven't had issues. also road dependent, roads with lots of angle, with a very high center, upset the cars natural ability to stay straight as you put more weight on one half of the car. straight flat road for trials.

I think our lnf are every sensitive to the different pavements. Minds is straight as an arrow on a perfectly smooth road but if I was on an uneven road with grooves, she is wandering all over. So wot on smooth new pavement preferably. LOL..

I notice mine is less squirly on the 17" rims and blizzak snow tires. On the 18" with Michelin Pilot Super Sports it seems to want to wander more.

Get the Powell Bushings F/R if that is in your budget. Years back at a dyno session, I've seen how the wheel crept forward on the dyno during WOT. I find if you roll on to throttle instead of hammer on it, it will help as well.

..

I had a really bad issue putting me in the next lane on WOT. Very dangerous and not controllable with or without traction control/ESC off. I did all new control arms with Powell bushings, new GM F5 struts, YYZ springs, tires, rear shocks, sway bar links and bushings, new alignment same results on various roads. One day just to rule it out I unhooked on side of the sway bar. Problem immediately went away. Most will argue this has nothing to do with anything, but it is what it is. Powell had mentioned in a prior post a sway bar can steer a car on hard acceleration. Just for giggles, try unhooking one side and getting on it and see what happens. I gave up trying to figure out what it is causing my torque steer. It is sway bar related though. Tried torquing sway bar to specs also. Handling on the YYZ springs didnt change a lot after I unhooked it, so I left it that way. It takes 15 minutes to unhook one side, so easy to test it out.

Did you unbolt it from the sway bar link?

Yes. And just one side. Instant change. When I would hook it back up torque steer came back. Replaced EVERYTHING. Weird, I know.

Never heard of that. I had a powell suspension and could easily drive with 1 hand, straight, in wot.

If you have zero torque steer ever then I dunno wtf I am doing wrong

Mine always pulls to the left. Im assuming it's bad control arm bushings. Hopefully I'll find out what's going on here shortly. Still waiting for winter to end in ND. Roads are **** here too.
