i read once when i first posted in css.net that not many cars repay you with a smile unlike these ones.... it was 100% correct.....

i sure smile everytime i heard it whine.....

thats a statement i believe anyone can agree with....
great post. sorry about your loss man.

Try going from an SS/TC to a 1.0 liter 3 cylinder Metro. Now that's what sucks haha. Can't wait til winter's over.

Edit: Don't hate, I know they are more expensive. But it's money well spent after you spend some time behind the wheel of one.
ya ifeel you, they do drive very smooth and comfortable. but for me even having a 2010 328i, i still missed my balty. sold the beamer to my mom, since that ***** brand new, and bought a ss.sc for 9k. there really isnt another sports class car of this new, 05 06 07 08 that can match the cobalt for the price. 06 suby 15k+, 06 evo 15k+, 06 si 15k+

and yes i think anyone can agree on that statement lol, and i agree with you 100%, i flipped my first balt on the freeway in a snowstorm in NM, with 2 buddies in my car and a set of MSR's in the back, and all three of us got out of the car before one person even got to us. and all 3 of us with not a scratch, not a SCRATCH. amazing how a small sports car can hold up that well to flippage

Damn man srry bout the ride...smdh / well on the bright side the leather doesn't look scratched.

lol i feel you those were nice recaros.... but like you said on the bright side this is the current balt minus the cf hood, splitter and some other stuff

and also its not hard to change the leds in the gauge cluster, or any of the leds in the interior like the hvac controls, steering leds, and window switchs... and the coupe trunk doesnt fit the sedans im pretty sure, unless ur jus talkin about the wing

tmazss i am glad to hear you made it out ok.... i didnt flip however some guy rearended me going about 100+ km and man i will tell you straight up.... i was out cold and my son woke me up.... i never wanna feel that way again......

as you can see he definately made some serious contact on the wheel... and pretty much that was the main contact point.... i am lucky the car gave in like its suppose to.... and i walked away with a major concusion and other various related injuries.........

the best part is my car(named it eddie) will live again in a diff shell.... stay tuned i will be creating a thread of its reincarnation.... when i buy a new shell... some lucky donor car will become a ss/sc g85 full load.... and it will also see all its perfomance, appearence, and interior mods..... now thats a lucky car.... hahahahahahaahah

If you work for a shop, you definitely have me on that one. I've only rebuilt a 1968 Camaro, a 1968 SS Camaro, a 1987 Grand National, a 1978 Chevy truck, a 1998 Mitsu Eclipse, a 1975 TR6, and a Honda 600. I'm 41.

Iron Maiden fo life!

When you go from a cobalt to a G8 you won't give two ***** about your cobalt.

Now the downsides, it felt really unstable at any speed over 70mph, and if I took a turn any faster than 20 I thought I was going to topple over. It also had no top end...whatsoever. I'd still most definitely consider it as a DD though. I also kind of treat my cobalt like a mini closet, I have a red fleece blanket that I keep in there year round(for random beach trips), a few pairs of heels, shirts, bags of stuff from when I went shopping, and the trunk has a bunch of car parts. It is still clean though!
I took my friends HHR on a canyon run for fun on the way back from LA on time...talkng about white knuckling lol

@that video...was that same guy hanging out the window in all the clips...wtf
