Zzp PCM spiking boost at 28psi?
Zzp PCM spiking boost at 28psi?
It holds a steady 25lb but it's suppose to stop at 22lb I'm worried about the air/fuel ratio cuz all I have is the stock boost gauge. No check engine light and I've not put the gm stage one sensors in it yet
well i got em both in last night but the bottom one refused to go it and i ended up breaking the oring
but then i put the best fitting one i could buy on it and yet it leaked air like a mother and threw it off horribly when it made boost lol of course.........
but now idk where to get a o ring that fits it and is small enough to fit in this hole

Did you cut the plastic boss off like the GMS1 instructions say? Also you see supposed to lube the o ring with either clean oil or silicone grease. The right size ring is 202. I got a pack from Mcmaster Carr. They are a little tough to get onto the sensor but just use some small metal picks and a little silicone grease or clean engine oil.

ok so i got to looking around and found what you ment by the boss. but I dont have a stock setup as for the charge piping but ill check it anyways but heres the real problems im having.......
1. the standard oring will not fit.
2. the sensors arent the same, they have a different serial code and the instructions from gm doesnt say anything about it....I read them and tried to find anything saying which sensor goes where but nothing.....

I just switched them around and guess what....the other one fit the charge piping perfectly so im assuming i had them backwards.....
checked my wiring to make sure it was all good and now im gonna order a o ring or two and i went ahead and put the permatex on the sensor with a small oring so soon as that cures ill be driving it once more and ill let you guys know how it goes
if this fails then ill diffenatly send in some pics

ok so everything is good to go....its running perfect....no check engine light, it pulls like crazy but its blowing more black sut then ever and when you stop or anything you can smell sulfur or something....idk if its right and im kinda worried? or is this just normal
THE BLACK SMOKE is normal for a car with a rich afr.... The sulfer you smell is if your catted. if your not catted make sure theres nothing burning. Also id be happier with a pic of said map sensors..!!
