Zzp PCM spiking boost at 28psi?

It holds a steady 25lb but it's suppose to stop at 22lb I'm worried about the air/fuel ratio cuz all I have is the stock boost gauge. No check engine light and I've not put the gm stage one sensors in it yet

Yeah if your tune was made for the gmstage1 sensors then your sending incorrect readings to the ecm...

Did you cut the plastic boss off like the GMS1 instructions say? Also you see supposed to lube the o ring with either clean oil or silicone grease. The right size ring is 202. I got a pack from Mcmaster Carr. They are a little tough to get onto the sensor but just use some small metal picks and a little silicone grease or clean engine oil.

What you mean the plastic boss? All it came with was instructions on wiring and I got it from zzp Not that that should make a difference just sayin

The lower sensor will not seat unless you shave the plastic boss off. Look up the instructions on CED's site.

ok so i got to looking around and found what you ment by the boss. but I dont have a stock setup as for the charge piping but ill check it anyways but heres the real problems im having.......

1. the standard oring will not fit.

2. the sensors arent the same, they have a different serial code and the instructions from gm doesnt say anything about it....I read them and tried to find anything saying which sensor goes where but nothing.....

Are you saying the two sensors you received have different serial numbers? Or different part numbers? Both sensors should be exactly the same, regardless of the serial numbers.

THE BLACK SMOKE is normal for a car with a rich afr.... The sulfer you smell is if your catted. if your not catted make sure theres nothing burning. Also id be happier with a pic of said map sensors..!!

I know. I was just saving him the trouble. I pulled them out of the same box as these to ship with his ecm.
