what??? First ive heard of this! Will be 25psi tuned, stock turbo on 93oct. What clutch should I use? Will see track time. Stock clutch is crap at 57k I just bought the car though, pedal sticks half to the floor (leaking slave I imagine) On GMS1 started slipping 2 weeks ago in 5th to the point where I have to downshift to 4th to accelerate on the highway. Now yesterday it slipped on a 3rd gear pull from 3500rpms just for a second but enough to go WTF!....crap.

Can some one explain what the gmpp upgrade is? I've tried searching on here and was back and forth with CED and found it's only an upgrade for the lsj clutch? Is it a lnf pressure plate and a Saab disc?

I have a feeling that the stocker isn't going to last for long on a e47/K04R setup. Looking for options that aren't puck discs with close to stock engagement. If the gmpp can hold 400ft/lbs then it's a clear winner in my book.

GMPP will let the clutch slip befor the tranny blows most other clutches are to hardcore with no slip and gears go boom. This is just my view since I've looked into these cars so much over the last few years constantly change build plans from 07 tvs setup to my 10' now. Boost ramp and other factors matter on clutch/tranny life . GMPP with a 4.05 tranny is the set up u might think of running befor ur stock tc tranny goes boom with a crazy tune. You don't have to get a 4.05 but I liked it better in my 07 and most other ppl grab them as well.

I've kept my eye out for a 4.05, haven't had much luck. I think with a proper ramp the 3.82 will be ok for what I'm doing with the car.

So to be completely straight forward.... I can purchase the LSJ flywheel, and LSJ gmpp clutch and bolt it to my LNF and have it hold 400+lbs reliably?

I'm the the "LSJ" GMPP clutch. You can use an LNF or LSJ flywheel.

Is there a big difference in the flywheels? The LNF is more than double the price. I thought I remember seeing Powell saying they were the same or had very little differences

LSJ price is going to be raised by GM.

The LNF has dowel pins slight larger. I have the feeling that ZZP only buys LSJ FW and when some one buys the LNF they just install larger dowel pins in it. The GM dealer price between the LSJ and LNF is even high. ZZP would be selling the LNF for less than a dealer cost at the price they list...

Although dealers upsale everything by 100% what they got the parts from the manufacturer that's how they get the profit so unless zzp gets them directly maybe thats why they give that price but i could be wrong

That is why I said that ZZP's LNF FW price is LOWER than the dealer cost....

KY TOB is actually a Dorman TOB for the Saab.
Use OEM LNF F35 Fluid (amazon.com for 19 shipped)

Good luck on the KY. I had two and both failed within a couple months. It was the PP that failed on them.

What do you feel when a pressure plate goes out? Slip? No engagement?

That could be a lot of things. Does the car move?

Also if I were you I would not of resurfaced the flywheel. They are cheap and in my opinion should just be tosseed. Most people take off too much material and it's junk.

Don't resurface the flywheel. Get one from zzp and call it a day. They're by far the cheapest around.
