Aeromotive Fuel pump
Aeromotive Fuel pump
Installing the ZZP/Aeromotive fuel pump:
I finished installing it but she's not turning over.. got a 1/4 tank in the tank.. i used the existing in-tank plug.. but didnt used the aeromotive plug since the OEM plug fit right in..

I had the same issue. Unfortunately you will have to drop the tank and reverse polarity on the pump. Yes the plug fits right in but the positive and negative are switched on the pump compared to what the stock plug is. Basically the pumps spinning backwards. You can here the pump tho right?

Since I had a brain fart today.. I want to thanks the guys for helping out!! She runs like a champ now.. thanks guys!!
If anyone swaps there LPFP, don't forget to check the polarity on the new fuel pump with the old fuel pump before you install the pump back into the tank.. for a min there i really thought i was losing my mind..

That's what I thought when we were troubleshooting CMiller's install. I had even sent him a pic with the polarity reversed on the plug compared to his pump. I couldn't figure how mine was working correctly since I never switched the wires.
We pulled my pump the other day for a new custom setup, and this is what I found...
Both of these pumps are the same part number:

I can only imagine the level of frustration that comes with doing customer support when your suppliers/vendors make significant changes like that with no notice and no part number change.
Matt, is your hair grey?

Should have seen me that day. I was so dumb founded that I could here the pump run and there was no f'ing fuel lol. Then when I got ahold of Matt here did some searching and found the different polarity deal. By that time I had already had the tank down, only problem was of coarse I had filled it full.

i prob got more grey hair than you after installing fuel pump last saturday.. hehe...
anyway is that custom pump setup.. is it the dual fuel pump setup for the LNF? just sayin??
I believe he was just showing two exact matching part # fuel pumps side by side with different polarity markings on each pump for reference since his was set up same as stock when he installed his hence why he never had to switch the polarity. I could be wrong though.
