ahh code p0236 help
ok guys im ready to pull my hair out.
heres the deal friday installed tmap sensor uploaded new trifecta tune to run more boost. car ran fine for a hour data logged everything looked good.
car went into limp mode started to pour ran codes. p0236 ok so its the sensor and nothing more
sat- redid wires spliced again but soldered this time to make sure they where done real good heat wrapped. reset ecu. car ran fine data logged again. everything fine but now no boost gauge. gauge comes back on later. couple hours later limp mode fudge. checked wires disconnected. hours later limp mode same code.
sun. disconnected batter but boost guage working this time upon startup. i know the ecu will make the car go into limp mode later.
im pointing towards i was sent a faulty sensor or connector to sensor is faulty.
im just wondering what you guys think since obviously
1. we connected the wires right other wise the sensor wouldnt work at all nor would we b able to data log.
2. im curious as to why the sensor would work for a while then bust out.
3. like i said im pointed towards the sensor or the connector is faulty i cant order new parts till monday.
your guys input and help is appreciated.
is there any way to check to tell if the sensor is faulty or the connector like things to look for

He has been doing all this with me, we actually lowered the boost some to make sure he's safe. He is running 24psi in 4th, 1-3 he is at 23psi. 1st log he did spike 28psi in 4th and vince backed it down to make sure he doesn't blow the motor. This sensor thing is crazy, it works fine for a while and then just goes into limp mode.
