All You Need to Know About Downpipes
I just didn't get Hahn's because of the price pretty much. I'm also stock exhaust otherwise.
So I saw if you have Hahn stuff already I'd just stick with that.
so i just got a cobalt addiction header and am going to get a downpipe to pair it with what would you suggest to go properly with the cobalt addiction shorty header

just have a quick question about downpipes.
i have always been told that not having a cat in your exhaust will eventually premature failure in the exhuast valves. i have been told this by some very credible people and it really makes me wanted to get a DP with a cat. however i really like the sound of the catless. any answers?

Hahn needs to learn that charging people over $400 for a peice of 3" pipe with two flanges on it is wrong.
Tell me I'm not the only one, but I just installed my ZZP Catless and we had to pull my exhaust in about 3/4 inch even though it looked longer than the stock one. So now you can barely see my exhaust tip! Kinda upset about that.

Wow ZZP is having the same problem as OTTP it seems. I'm going to be taking my DP off taking it to an exhaust shop and having them add 1/2" to it, we shall see how that goes.
The problem with this question, is that "most" people with a catless dp will have an aftermarket tune and say they havent thrown the cel for X miles. Well of course they haven't. After market tunes take away that issue.
Yea I know aftermarket tunes takes it away I'm saying without the tune how many people have thrown a code? I have a catless dp ready to put on but I am not getting a tune for the next couple months

It's hard to say everyone is different. You will get a CEL the question is when 100 miles or 25,000 miles.
Just took a vid of my car for this thread-
zzp catless dp with stock exhaust system including stock muffler.

they all will give you the same pretty much. All are 3". You just need to find which one you like. all catless will act the same besides their bungs. So if you tune it it really doesnt matter what bung as the tune can turn off the o2 error. If you run stock tune or gmstage 1 id say get a catted dp with a bung (angled) so you have less of a chance to throw a cel.
they fit, but some seem to be shorter than stock so the tip doesnt poke out. Also could be adjustments with the hangers. My hahn has no issue, cant speak for the other brands.

Seems as though quite a few people have had fitment issues with the OTTP one and I have heard of a couple fitment issues with the ZZP one aswell.
