Sorry no video but I've got the CIA w/cat and stock exhaust. Also a cutout I hope to try eventually. It's similar to Zanders but is a touch quieter(can't remember which type of cat they use); exhaust has about 14k on it.
Pretty subdued until you tip into it; tone deepens; nice growl upwards of 4500 rpm or so. I like it.

The only factual answer is...Possibly...ANY catless downpipe COULD throw a code...it's really his or miss with those angled O2 bungs. There have been cases of codes thrown with ALL the brands out there. My ZZP catless with the extended O2 bung threw a code...about 10,000 miles after I put it on...just cruising on the highway home from work one day. Some people have gone 25k+ miles with the Hahn and not thrown a code...some have just gotten down the road before a code came...unfortunately the sensors are really sensitive so if it senses too little activity it could throw a code...too much heat...throw a code...no activity on startup...could throw a code...so like I said it's really hit or miss. If you're not planning on getting a custom tune (NOT including GMS1) and you're worried...just get a high flow cat....flows just as well as a catless, and if your not tuning for it specifically...won't make less power than a catless either.

Some of the general info applies to all downpipes however I don't know if there is an SS/SC specific DP thread.

Zander - thnx for the video. I was wondering what a catless vs a high flow cat dp sounded like.

Ok just a quick question im a little confused on ZZP's website it gives you the options of 3'' magnaflow cat(+90), Offroad W/ o2 bung (+40), Offroad no o2 bung or cat, or Spun metal cat (+130).
I want a Catless DP and i do want the o2 bung for the stock sensor so it would lower the risk of the CEL. If i choose the Offroad W/ o2 bung (+40) is that adding another o2 bung for if i wanted to add something later on, or is that adding the bung for the stock rear sensor?
Thanks, Dustin

If you don't plan on adding a wideband then the extra bung is pretty much useless..
