Ugh... i can't even get the DP off... just need a quarter inch of room. I knew that electric cut out was gonna cause clearance issues.

Yes I talked to the local Borg Warner Rep and they did a redesign of the EFRs last year because of early issues with the first design.

You figure bw would rebuild the Turbo for free or at least at a heavy discount. I mean they put out a product that was no good.

I'm not seeing much damage yet, but i don't have the Turbo off. I took some pics of intake and exhaust side that I'll post in a bit. I'm gonna see if Borgwarner will do anything, but it's not gonna go back on the cobalt if they did fix it.

I'm honestly not a Mechanic and have no clue on what I'm doing so this could take awhile.

Manifold nuts are off, and have 3 of the 4 Turbo bolts loose.

You have no idea.. Manifold, Turbo and down pipe had to be unbolted and had to be shuffled around to get each part out. If my buddy didn't help me it would have been worse. It took 2 minds to figure out the puzzle..
