And as I said before, just help me with questions about the install and the tune, lol. I ordered that wastegate spring so you could tune it easier. I may ask a few questions about the vac line routing but everything else should be straight forward.

Yeap, or get the part number and order them from GMPartsEast.com like I did. They ship out quicker than anyone else if you live on the east coast.

What else are some of the symptoms of injector seal failing? I don't have any gunshot noise going on but my cold start(cat warm up mode) been going crazy. In very cold morning's it used to miss and idle so rough that it would throw misfire CEL's all the time, then once it come out of the cat warm up mode things would be back to normal and fine. The weather around here been warm and my cat warm up mode been better and no CEL but it's still very rough.

Anyone know what this could be? or is this something you guys also notice with injector seal failing?

Check your charge piping and your intake. You most likely have a cut coupler, a hole in the pipe and your fuel trims are all jacked, or your intake could have fell out of the neck to the turbo after the mass air flow sensor. And if you still build boost you can still have a leak. That doesn't mean anything other than the leak isn't bad enough that your turbo can't keep up with the volumetric losses. I could still boost to 23psi no problem with a 3/4" gash in one of my couplers and had to replace it.

checked everything and can't seem to find anything out of place. My LTFT is fine where it's suppose to be and where it's been. I checked coils, plugs, and even did a compression test and everything is normal. Only thing I didn't do is check my injectors, but I'm just not 100% that it could be injectors since the rough idle only happens during cat warm up start and I have no popping noise or anything like that. however, when the weather was cold I can hear what sound like static or rattlesnake type sound mixed with hissing only during load. I believe that noise is from my catless pipe tho.. After that everything is fine. No issues at all. I just can't seem to figure out why my cat warm up mode all of a sudden went crazy. I can somewhat deal with it now since the weather is warm and I am not getting anymore misfire CEL but the cat warm up idle is still very rough. I am lost. LOL.

I would try a purge valve solenoid then. They're cheap and go bad often, especially when tuned.

Mine is at the dealer getting an injector replaced due to missing seal. It sounded almost like gunfire when accelerating. I hope they check the other injectors, I'll find out Monday.

Unless your dealer tech is a complete tool theyll replace all the seals, its actually required by GM to replace all the seals, o-rings and retainers any time the fuel rails or any injector is pulled out.

^^^^ I believe the rail fuel feed line also although I reused mine. I still have a spare though that was delivered too late.

yes, both hard lines as well. They are round ball seats, an are only esigne to seal properly once. I know that EVERYONE has reused them.....

Engineer was called in, I would like to think they did all of the seals. Engineer had them remove the head and clean out the carbon deposits as well.
