It is probably the striker or the mounting tabs for the door panel.

Yah mine does too. I actually took the door apart about a month ago and checked to see if there was anything in there but there was nothing. I also dynamated the car, including the driver's door...it helped with road noise, but the rattle is still there.

I think the latch on the door that hooks onto the jamb striker maybe loose. I can wiggle it back and forth...

Well i WD40'ed my passenger striker and the sound was still there initially.....so i figured oh well , i better try something else.............But today it completely stopped ?? I'm very surprised ....It (wd40) must have worked its way into the area that was causing the squeak . I'm amazed because some of the roads i hit today were terrible and would have drove me crazy if the door was still squawking.

This is more of a knocking/clicking, than a squeak.

I see, mine sounds like the door isn't shut all the way . It used to thump and squeak and rattle and knocked lol, a little of everything. The weather cooling down up here may be helping my situation as well.

Mine makes a weird noise right by the door jam on the driver's door but ONLY if I have my window cracked open a little...like 1 inch or less...doesn't do it if it's closed..or if it's opened anything more than about an inch...freaking weird.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I'm experiencing the same exact issue as OP and it's beyond annoying.
