If your going to run the Tial off the factory BPV solenoid vacuum line (like factory), then you need to use a 6-8 psi BOV spring so the solenoid can open it.

I've ran my Tial Q BOV both ways.

you could always just run the forge bpv its easier just swap out the factory one and you still get the sound effects

x2 on the videos for the Forge.

I'm not sure how much he charges. I haven't really asked about it. He's a reputable tuner for this area though.

I don't think I can add a BOV to my cars current set up. Seems not possible. Lower charge open with MAF relocate is a problem. Only way is to sell my current cp and get one with a bov flange.

Lightbulb

hey sswweetttt im running a tialQ and the 10lb spring didnt work well for me.. it would blow off but it would compressor surge for about 1second before blowing off. at full boost or at 10vac.. i mean if you dont care about it killing your turbo then id use the 10lb spring cuz it really sounds awsome, buutttt if your serious about your cars performance, from my experiance, the 5lb spring work fantastic. it opens super quick and it holds 25psi on the k04 like a dream.

If I had a gopro or a good camera that I could mount while driving and cut out wind noise, you'd get a good sounds of my K&N plus forge. It literally sounds JUST like a VTA bov. It's plenty loud. Most of the BOVs I've heard are barely any louder if at all.

Videos are more than welcome. I'm running the K&N SRI with my stock bypass valve. It's loud, but I wonder how much of a difference it is from the Forge.

This makes me nervous about the TiAL.

i honestly noticed a minimal difference, hence why i sold it. the stock bpv is perfectly fine with the stock turbo setup.

Meh. I know. I just want something different. I'm sure most BPVs are sufficient for a stock turbo.
