I re read the entire thread I think the cams are not timed correctly. my .02c

 

This isnt the first time I have seen this. 1 tooth off can cause all sorts or codes to pop up. I know that the pressed on wheel on the cams has caused this in at least 2 cars. ZZP took theirs back and welded the wheel.

 

ZZP told me to tell teh dealership check the reluctor ring on the cams they said they "did" but we all know how some dealerships work. They cant figure it out at all and now im being told maybe open a case with cosume affairs and have them buy the car back if at all possible. Im gonna go pick it up send pictures of the reluctor rings on the cams to ZZP see what they say then figure it out from there. Also I remembered my car threw a p0016 code before and thats the correlation one but it went away like a hour after it popped up so im gonna check the reluctor rings and just go from there

 

Any update? Figured it out? Mines still sitting in the garage broken , I just had a new exhaust cam put in so I'm going to try the ZZP intake cam and maybe replace my upper O2 sensor to try and fix it.

 

nothing im just gonna get it back from the dealership look at a couple things then open a file maybe

 

how goes the repairs ?
