cel p2187

cel code bank 1 lean at idle.

hmmmm confused, car idles perfectly fine, ive read of people having this code at losing boost pressure. i havent lost boost pressure i peak at 24 and hold at 22psi. it has 44,301 miles and i havent ever had this problem, i know that the plugs havent been changed all my piping is tight with vband clamp. i havent noticed any hesistation other then when coming from a dead stop i need to give it a little gas to like 1200 rpms to get moving or else it gives a little shutter. plugs maybe? maf sensor maybe?

hmm

after visual inspection where the maf goes into the dejon intake it has to screws one is completely gone so its not completely sealed. this could be the problem, hence maybe its sucking in air thru that hole and the maf isnt readin that extra air............................ maybe help. im a mechanic by trade grr wish i could do some logging

OP - If you have the Dejon intake, the fuel trims are whacked and you will need to get a good tuner to correct them. It must be the missing screw causing your issue or the gasket on the MAF is missing because I have to pull fuel at idle (too rich) and add fuel at WOT. Continue to check for boost leaks as well.

Sounds like a vac leak.

You can tune the fueling at idle as well. MAF correction table is rpm vs. load based.
