What is nuts is:

We have TM in 3rd gear...imagine a tune with just the TM taken off...

I got my drop in today and got a chance to drive some.

ABSOLUTELY noticed increased throttle response.

I'm not sure about the sound of the turbo and BOV. Perhaps a little bit. Nothing that got me all worked up. lol

I think there was an increase in power a bit. Nothing to write home about but seems like the top of 3rd goes a bit quicker. Which means I'm sure the others too but 1st and 2nd go by too fast for me to really observe closely.

Now that said the biggest change if your going to use a drop in is to remove the air filter outlet snorkel from under the headlamp. Its not a resonator its just a snorkle. The problem with the snorkle is it necks down to about 2 1/4 inches where it goes into the air box (big restriction) I took that off last week prior to putting on the full cai. As soon as I took that off on the first drive the boost went to about 16.5 pounds and there was in improvement in spool (it did learn back to 15.5 which I expected) but the initial gain in boost told me that the overall airflow had increased. When I put the full tube on the boost went to 18/19 or so (and yes it learned back) but that indicated a large increase in air flow over the K&N without the snorkle.

The difference in spool rate of the turbo I cannot underemphasize. The thing launches like it was shot out of a cannon now which it never did before and it hits 15.5 LBS in 1 second from the time you drop the hammer in first gear. It took about three seconds or to about 4800 RPM stock. The HP/torque total hasn't changed but the torque curve definatly has which should equate to ET regardless of the ECM tuning.
I took a look at this option this weekend and it looks like if you took off this snorkel, you would be sucking in air from the engine compartment. Even if the snorkel is slightly restrictive (which it doesn't look like it is much), it is better to have it on so you suck in cold air instead of the hot air under the hood...

Technically speaking if you just load a bullet into a gun and pull the trigger nothing will happen. You also need the cartridge, powder, and primer before a nice "bang" happens. The bullet is just the piece of lead in front of all that. All of that combined is called a "round".

...anyway moving on.
