It seems i'm boosting a little lower, 2-3lbs, but is that okay?
you have to re program the computer to get over 16psi off the turbo.
get hp tuners and hit up chris in the hp tuner forums hes taking the whole thing apart
also might want to get the gm stage kit getting released uber soon, you get 2 new sensors for higher boost and a new map which raises the limit of 23psi hard fault to higher. how high is unknown so far, the part number is present in the gm parts system but doesnt have a price yet so definatley go with that then tune up from there.

all u get with intake pipe before turbo is slightly quicker response and bad ass sound.

Question for you guys. I made a custom short ram intake about a month ago and so far everything is working great, knock on wood. Anyways, when its cold out and you guys start up, do you get a very loud vaccumm like sound coming from your custom intake? I figure its just it pulling air like normal, and that the stock airbox muffled all of this sound which is why i couldnt hear it before, but figured I would ask. And its pretty loud and annoying and sounds unhealthy haha, I can hear it inside the car pretty clearly.

OH YES! IT's a beautiful sound, apart from startup as I said. But we have BPV's correct? So it doesnt release the air like a BOV, but it sounds just like it does. But when your in boost it sounds amazing, you can def. hear the turbo spooling now! Mines just temporary until a manufacturer comes out with one, but it gets the job done.

I'll post it when I get back, around noonish. Yeah autozone didnt have the spectre kit, so I just order it through spectre, didnt have to pay tax and got it in a day. I have a vid of it to, but when I try to put it on youtube, it stalls at like 1%(and its only like 12mb too), so i have no idea whats going on there.

Let me know how the tune goes. Im thinking about going that route, but have no idea where to start. Are you having someone tune for you? How much is it going to run if you dont mind me asking?

yea theres a cobalt meet here in IL tomorrow and a guy has a tuner and hes charging 100 bucks for a tune. so since the tc's have huge gains from it, should be well worth it.

I'm about to do the same from the guy in OH, except I'm putting on a KN filter. I'll make sure I put the cuplers on the MAF for security purposes. Just waiting on the MAF kit for tomorrow at Autozone.

boy I wish I didnt miss this post to warn people.... dont buy spectre... its junk. At least there filters are terrible. The filter will last for a year maybe and then rust completely over.
