Direct bolt-on turbo (ko4 replacement)
i was just sayin that for $2-2500, i better have a much faster car, and if not, then why spend the money....
i really dont wanna go over 25psi on any turbo i get, really just wanna stay at the 24psi i am at now currently on the stock turbo, and want 400whp/400wtq on 93 gas...

obviously these are vague things i am stating because of the ramp, torque management, timing and such, but thats why i have a thread on detailed tunes. this is on bolt-on turbos....hopefully that wr-2 is the real deal, because i will buy it before the end of the year...
Lol, 26 spike 24 steady I made 399whp on 89/91 octane but this was a agrressive tune even with me knowing it was the two mix. 20g
Bnr will be roughly 350-370 most on 93 with lower boost and a correct tune for a dd
Frossb made 400+ on 24lbs on his 5557
Donkey ***** made 399 on his 6758 at the boost stated
When I'm done with the Zzp efr I'm tuning I'm sure he will dyno,
Brant (with his built block and head/cam combo was almost at 500whp on his 5857 on 23lbs on 93 octane (470ish whp)
There's more these are just my guys..

Also, the first efrs were blowing wheels left as right. And best turbo for a stock engine to obtain good numbers low boost are the efr, 25g (my spool was 4k) and 252/256 bullseye turbos for quick spool. This is what I think.

Hey James, Thanks for taking my call the other day lol, If I'm looking for Stock Spool and a goal of 400WHP which turbo would you recommend the 252et, 256et or the EFR?

yes, the zzp may be rated at up to 500whp and the wr-2 is rated at 450whp max...Performance autowerks wr-2 is probably gonna be the cheapest route and true bolt-on....without E47/E85, the wr-2 seems to be around the 415whp and 400wtq on 93 with stock spool...
The P Werks is a modified "stock" k04 that looks to be bored and honed with bigger billet wheels. Basically a k04 + upgrade or how it should have been originally. You will be on max efficiency or maybe slightly out of efficiency to reach 400 whp with something like that I would imagine, where the EFR will be with in its efficiency range. But that is my opinion on the subject.

where did you get those numbers?????
And thats what im looking for personally. A turbo that bolts n with the least amount of change to the engine(ie BOV etc) that can push ~400/400 with out breaking a sweat. That way it will be in its effieciency range. tune wont be aggressive and the turbo "should" last longer since its not being taxed. I know the efr is capable of more but thats all i need out of it. It fits my need all to well
Stop your crazy talk :P You can make 360 whp on the stock turbo! It'll last pull after pull after pull too.
There are way too many idiots that think 360 hp on the stock turbo is anything like 360 on a bigger turbo. Likewise too many people on this forum do not understand that bigger turbos mean the torque curve will come on later which means you will never get peak toque numbers like a tiny turbo.

With the way the EFR spools, I wouldn't mind have gone 1 step bigger. Just my opinion, but then again. I'm still in the process of tuning, I don't think I'm close to being done yet. James can attest to that.

Lol. Numbers depend on dyno. I can go to a dyno and make 400whp on this dynojet. And then go to a dynojet a hour away and make 430whp same conditions. There are high reading dynoes and low reading ones.
