DP...Hahn VS. CIA VS. ZZP
blue berry. if u READ my posts.
i have a catless DP with stock cat back. it sounds nice.
HB SS/tc can show u what a catless DP with straight pipes sounds like.
Beth and Dan have been nothing but nice to me. and they even helped with some other things.
they keep selling out of a lot of their materials so they have been replenishing it.
at least 5 different peoples solenoids have burned up after 3K plus miles. the spring rets weak. and doesnt the solenoid open. causing exptreme heat.
if u want an excuse for a turbo upgrade. go ahead man
dont try to bash what u dont know broda.
btw why would u want to just to hot side piping. why not both?

I took my dejon spring out because I was seeing some flutter when letting off the throttle, and few have had issues with burnt out BPV solenoids.
I thought better safe than sorry in this case. I think the stock exhaust with a Catless DP sounds pretty good but I like the way mine is now a lot better. When I first got my Catback It was kinda raspy and popped back some but it sounds better now as the muffler has broken in.
why is the spring bad i know i have read about how it is stiff and doesnt allow alot of airflow out etc. but the stock spring with an intake and performance parts flutters and doesnt hold boost as well

Well once again... if you read my buddy is making me a custom cold pipe!
Same guy who did my custom intercooler!
no u i'dint......
lol
didnt know that. i dont follow peoples every move....
im not a stalker....
like HIValiscious......with 13 year old girls.... lols
companies who design turbos do think this through. and yes the spring is good for a little while. but is flawed but the spring eventually weakens. and u cant really tell it is until ur turbo is flutterdumping (which sounds amazing)
but u dont want to burn the solenoid.

I noticed everyone is always saying that CIA and Hahns catless DP wont throw a code aslong as you have a tune. Now my question is, are we talking tuning your car right after you get the DP, or whenever? I got my Trifecta tuner a few months ago, and I plan on getting my DP sometime this month, so do I need a re-tune or what?
I'm just gonna pay the $75 and get the tuner from Trifecta again when I order my catless DP, so I can re-tune for the DP and raise the rev limiter or completely get rid of it. I know our cars dont make any power above the 6300rpms or so, but what can are cars safely rev to without blowing the motor, 7000rpms or so??
I wouldnt ever shift above 6500 unless I knew my car was making power above that and if I knew my engine wouldnt blow. I figured I might aswell get rid of it since I'm just gonna raise it to like 7k or so.
There is not much else he can do to that tune of his except maybe a few A/F and timing changes.
Unless you are changing intakes or running nitrous you dont really need to retune these things after modding. Factory wideband takes care of it for you.
Oh, and I will have some changes to email you soon hopefully.

I just wanted to clear a few things up.
[QUOTE=redstarpa69;3942815]DO NOT STRETCH THE O2 SENSOR/WIRING - if you did - you could and will strip the wiring from the sensor, that's because the motor will move back and forth, its happen to a few guys already, that's why most guys returned the CIA & ZZP DP's.. that plus CEL kept coming on even if CEL got tuned out..
We have NEVER had any of our TC down-pipe returned for any reason. Our O2 sensor bung is perfectly placed and the wires are NOT stretched in any way. Please make sure you have your facts straight before posting a comment like this as it could be very damaging. Thanks.
Not true. We split the hot and cold side all the time. Beth nor I would NEVER have told you this. In fact, we advocate NOT changing the cold side tube as the factory piece is not all that restrictive and is a pain to swap out. Especially on the HHR's. We deduct $70.00 when a customer deletes the cold side boost tube.
We do realize it took longer than we expected to get the initial boost tubing orders shipped. But you have to consider a "GB" is made available to the members to get them the absolute best price for the same quality. This means we must also shop for the best price on material, parts, tubing, clamps, silicone, etc. Like the old cliche goes: quality, low price and fast shipping. Pick two. You guys got the best price offered by any company for the absolute highest quality boost tubing kit available anywhere. But shipping took some time.
Tuning is not required for the DP specifically. You already have the tune so unless you are just looking for some other changes, you are fine. However, I keep forgetting to mention Vince of TriFecta has recently been able to crack another part of the factory tune parameters. he believes he may be able to unleash another 20 to 30 HP. So hold off on the re-tune for now.
To everyone else who has supported us, thanks very much.

well fredds...
That is the pipe right there... just installed it 3 days ago. Fitment was SPOT on, but since I got the first with the angled bung it was a WEE too far but I managed to get the o2 screwed in.
I told them about the issue, and they are going to fix it.. by moving it 1-1.5" closer to the turbo so no more "VERY" tight wiring!

We have not changed the pricing of our downpipes but the options.
If you want an offroad pipe with NO O2 bung, it's under $200 in full 304 stainless. (all ZZP downpipes are 304, we don't sell an aluminized piece).
The price as shown on the site is with an O2 bung (no CEL light) but you can remove that via drop down for a lower price. All downpipes are in stock and ship the same day you order.

I have a ZZP catless DP with no O2 bung. I absolutely love it and wouldn't buy any other dp. Price is absolutely unbeatable. I had the CEL tuned out before the car was even started after install and I haven't recieve a CEL for the DP at all.
