If you want to be a supporting vendor here like you stated in your other thread, learn to type. I swear I will never buy from a company with a typo in the title of their thread.

You know what I meant though, right? Obviously you do being that you posted in here.... or did you not take the time to read the thread and learn a little bit about me and my knowledge before posting. If you read some of my posts you will see that I'm not a fly by night shop. Hell, look us up on youtube, enjoy yourself while watching some of our vids (oh I'm sorry... Video's), and you will see what we're all about.

Vendor's are human too and we do make mistakes just like everyone else in this world....no one's perfect . Dwelling and commenting on a typing error....come on now...do you not have anything else to do?

Everyone else who posted in this thread seen the same title as you yet they posted in it in a positive way. Why? Simply because they looked beyond a simple typo (honest rush typing mistake....E is one letter away from T....notice there wasn't a apostrophe?) and contributed to the thread in a positive manor.

Not to mention it was memorial day weekend and there might have been a couple alcoholic beverages toasted and put down in memory of our vet's!

Lesson learned here is....everyone is human and makes mistakes. Perfectly good forum space should be wasted with comments like that IMO. If i was talking like one may consider "thuggish", "ghetto", or just plain "spelling challenged" with terms like (dogg, yo, son, cuz, de de deeee, homie, G, etc) I will see your point but being the little typo I made I fail to see why or how you would judge one like that.

I'm going to bed. Late night tonight and shop doors open up in a few hours

Yeah, I knew what you meant, and I respect the idea behind it all. Just trying to point out that you could make things look better by proofreading. Didn't mean to come across as negative and is it did.

It's all good. If I was a vendor I'd be quick to fix it but right now I have to rely on the mods

Checked out the site, looks like you do alot for SRT's... can't wait to see what you got up your sleeve for the Balts. Good luck getting supporting vendor status on here though. I'll PM you here about something.

I would certainly be interested in it. I had been using a meth kit on my 2.3 Stroker EvoVIII and made the switch to e85 (all it required was bigger injectors, better flowing fuel pump, and a tune) and saw huge gains due to being able to run more boost and increase timing. Plus, you don't have to worry about the meth kit failing (if you don't have a fail safe). I had two tunes, so if I couldn't find an e85 station I could run the 93 tune.

To anyone worried about the ethanol "eating through your fuel lines" - modern fuel systems are designed for 10% ethanol already, and many states are (and have been) pursuing a higher percentage of ethanol. E-85 is no problemo for any modern fuel system, whether or not the flex-fuel badging is sitting on your trunklid.

Wow... at least I wasn't as fucktarded as that.

Also, I would be interested in it. I had a thread about it on the "other" (LNF realted) forum about it. When the tuning comes available, I am definitely working towards tuning for it.

E85 is the **** for boosted cars, been running it in our Saabs for close to 4 years, ( that how we got 550hp out of a 2L and gt3071 64ar, and a 11.47@127 out of a fat ng900) any ways the problem you will run into with our LNF's is the direct injection well really the high pressure pump....its been tried on the VW world, the E85 does not have as much lubricated properties as gas (which I'm sure you know) and it will destroy the pump. So until we have an E85 DI pump we are SOL ( bosch has one in the works I believe but is some were in the 3K price)

im all for E85, a setup solely for E85 is a lot better than crappy flex fuel systems

E85 is equivalent to around 105 octane pump gas(depending on the mixture sometimes only 75% ethanol for winter), but it does burn quicker because it does require more fuel to air e.g. stoich for gas being 14.7:1 for E85 around 9.78:1
and it does burn cooler allowing for higher boost pressure while staying safe

my buddy has a 2nd gen clipse that hes runnin 30lbs under the stuff

all that for around the same price as basic unleaded, im sold

THAT is the reason you need to have a tune to be safe with E85. Your computer (unless tuned, or setup for flex from the factory) is going to try to keep close to a 14.7:1 afr (gasoline stoich). In a boosted application, what happens when you lean the mixture too much? Now imagine the difference between "correct" stoich of 9.78:1 and 14.7:1? E85 with no tuning for it will run your car dangerously lean under boost (stock SS runs between 12-13 under boost)

Cars that have the "flex" badge use a sensor in the fuel system (dielectric measuring to determine the percentage of ethanol to gasoline - ethanol is more conductive than gasoline) to adjust the tune to match the amount of ethanol in the gas. Its the main difference between one rated for flex fuels and a car that is not.

LNF for E0-E85 use, is under development...

This project has a $5 million dollar budget...

Revised piston to increase CR from 9.2 to 11.85...

A GM engineer was quoted as saying that the present day LNF fuel system will
only support 220 HP on E85

If 220hp on E85 is true on the current fuel system, that means we'd be out of fuel @ 286hp on pump gas. Thats just using the rough guestimate of 30% more fuel needed. I know there are already some LNF's in the 400's on pump gas with the stock fuel system still.

Perhaps my math is flawed so I welcome more input on this.
