ebay intercooler?
ebay intercooler?
anyone have any experience with an ebay intercooler, or even the charge piping? its all at a pretty good price.. on a tight budget just looking for some input thanks!
You can actually make your own crazy steve intercooler (aka Genuine Saab) for about 110 bucks off of ebay.
i got a cx racing FMIC and charge pipes on my 2.4 ion .. works pretty well.. only issue i've seen is when doing lots of back to back to back pulls in 4th all the way out .. i'm also on the ss/tc stock turbo which generates a good amount of heat .. when i was on the dyno the hot side piping was untouchable.. and the cold side was warm lol so it does its job
They don't "have" to point back from the end tanks...you would just have to get some 90*s and couplers and call it a day if they weren't. Having them pre-welded pointing back just makes life easier
I saw the group buy and I'm thinking about it buttt not sure or I can afford that at the moment lol
Here's a simple rule of thumb for most eBay "universal" car parts. Can you weld? Are you willing to potentially do some fab work? If yes to those...then go for it! If not...then don't bother.
