I'm so sick of hearing this I haven't even been in the same city as my car for a month and all I hear is complaining. I just spent 2 grand again on my car you go buy one and dyno it and share that. I'm not spending anymore money on my car for a bit I need to pay it off. Unless you wanna send me the money for the dyno.

This thread is even tempting me but all i need to buy thats still stock in my car is an intercooler better then my stock one and buy hp tuners so someone can tune it.

 

bad news the turbo install will have to wait until next weekend =( my friends shop is all filled up so no space for me. lame!!

I wish i could post something but my car has been so cursed after this thread has started and 0% of it has anything to do with the turbo. I'm getting crazy knock right now and I'm going back to the shop in the morning and seeing if they didn't tighten something or if I broke my clutch already. To me is sounds like the exhaust is loose since you do not have to take the exhaust off to do the clutch I'm thinking they forgot something on the rear mount

 

No need to get upset, I wasn't calling anyone out. I was just thinking that Matt was going to do this with one of his locals and I was just waiting to see how it did compared to my ko4+. I don't want or need another turbo. Sorry about your car.

 

So I need a hub or an axle so I'm going to check that out when I get home then order new parts.... again

Thanks man. She's sick I'm looking her over this weekend but on a side note I got pulled over for speeding and got my car impounded for the night that was a $1000 bill. Has not been a good month for me car wise. If I can get rid of my clunk I will be racing my buddy's car and post that but just to let everyone know I WILL NOT BE DYNOING UNTIL NEXT YEAR. I have way too many car expenses to be able to pay for a dyno that really means nothing to me sorry guys.

 

Sorry about the bad luck man. I'm pretty excited to see what this k04ftw buts down on the dyno but it doesn't mean anything. Being able to Rev to 7k is what I'm after and having more top end speed which I'm hoping this turbo will help with, almost 1k more revs is going to make the car so much more fun. I'm not really after a crazy HP beast just something to make the v8's cry haha the ZFR was on my list but i wouldnt really use it to its full potential, being able to Rev that much higher efficiently is going to be a game change for only 600 bucks. Can't wait to see some race's!!

 

Thanks I really wish I had better luck and could have came through with dyno ect but this race needs to happen I'll update progress this weekend

Injen upper cp
Stock exhuast
GM stage 1 at about 22 psi
No tune lol i just ordered
hptuners to try to get a remote tune from someone.
Anything im missing that I should get? I was thinking the forge bpv.

 

Wow with that hot pipe and smaller IC you should have a quicker spool than me that's gonna be a fun setup! I like catbacks but heard they don't add that much power

yeah my friend has the mpx catback and sounds nice but i like being on the quieter side.
but ya i hope it spools quick the only down side is theres on 91 octane around me cant find anywhere with more. damn socal.
