It is available right now. See the article on GM Tuner Source. Yesterday was the first day the "tune" was available.

Hmm, we don't need this gabarge in this thread.

We understand other tunes give more power. You can now take the saddle off your high horse.

Alright well I got the first fucked up Stage kit

P0098 Intake Air Sensor 2 Circuit too High
P0238 Turbocharger Boost Sensor Circuit too High

Not boosting over 5 psi
Boost flutter is horrible.

Back to dealer in the morning. What's the problem Bill.

Sensor installed wrong?

Yep mine is going in first thing in the morning.

I cleared codes but they still show up. Probably should reset but that won't fix it i don't think

I did my own hard parts install this morning and the cal installed this afternoon. A word to the wise. READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTUIONS "TO THE LETTER" OR YOU"LL PAY THE DEALER TWICE. I've been doing automotive wireing for a long time and screwed this one up. I wired a LS1 into a 88 Fiero without a hitch. I had two wires reversed, one is ground, on the manifold sensor. Then I had a rub develope during my drive to the dealer. Started rubbing on a AC pipe that I knew was close but didn't think it was THAT close. Chafed 1 wire to the copper and shorted to the pipe on hard acceleration which I didn't want to do with the hard parts in but not the cal. Talk about PISSED. If you're going to do it yourself go SLOW and be prepared for skinned knuckles. Lots of them. And don't take shortcuts. Drop the IC to manifold pipe, I have CIA installed, you'll thank me. Also, make sure the connector on the bottom sensor is facing to the REAR. You'll thank me again. Total of about 3 hours on jack stands under the carport. Tried to save a buck and ended paying it anyway to correct my f--k ups. I'm embarrased to even mention it. Telling everybody is my punishment. Really didn't get on it hard on the way home. Had some other business to tend to and went straight home. Tomorroe AM going to Daytona, about 20 miles, on I95. Can't wait. Even just driving in town it felt stronger. Still VERY drivable. I'm a happy camper. NOW!!

Sorry to hear about that man. ordered the kit yesterday, came in today, got it on with no probs. Runs a ton better than stock.
Please let me know what they figure out they did wrong and post on here so we can know how not to install it.

FOUND IT, the lower MAP sensor isn't staying plugging in. Guess I didn't press hard enough. As soon as I hit boost it blew the plug back out.

Now just gotta make sure it gets clipped in this time.

There should be a latch on the clip. Does anyone know if it's on the top or the bottom.

Clip/lock is on the top

Intake Air temp is measured by the sensor in the intercooler pipe. I would check the wiring and make sure the connector is snapped in until it locks. Then make sure it is not rubbing on the a/c compressor. It is close. If it is a touch situation loosen the clamp to the intercooler. and push the hose on further (forward).

Bill

Mother f-er

It pulls like a bat out of hell. When I go full boost the plug pops out. I can't get it to click at all.

It has an orange rubber inner gasket on it and it just doesn't seem to want to snap.

suggestions?

Stinks that the plug does not stay in place, but it is a major difference in performance?? Wish we had some recorded data.. 0-60/ 1/4 mile and such..

Why dont you just super glue it?? LOL...

Wow, this ******* car screams. Sounds so good. Drop in second at 25 and it just spins and books ass.

Bill this is a very important question. I used some tape to secure the plug. It is for sure snapped in place but there is a bar above it that under heavy boost is unclipping the plug. Is the tape safe on there. Any chance of glue getting in the sensor. I figured as long as it stayed in place that nothing would get past the orange gasket.

I just ran it about 5 miles and it seem to hold.

I can't imagine a cobalt with 350-400whp, this thing scares the **** out of me at 280hp and 320Tq. Would love to see my numbers. Boost spiked to 23 then held at 21, even with my big ass intercooler. Intercooler never got warm at all. Wish I also had a way to read the IAT2.

Sounds so sexy too. Boost comes in smooth, and lays you back in your seat.

Oh and guess what. My LTFT was at -0.8%, now that's more like it.

Now to save for tires and a new clutch in the next 2 years.

For all those calling for numbers, I'll post track slips when I go this weekend. I might not get a lot of passes cuz they'll have funny cars there that night too, but I'll do what I can. I'm considering dynoing tomorrow, depending on how much work I get done, so we'll see...if I don't dyno it's because I decided to spend the money on a downpipe :-)

1st to have the Stage I Kit!!! And yes, I am driving right now
Bummer...No More "Stock" class for you in AutoX!

If I've read it corretly... you're in STS or STX now!

This might also mean a move from NV1 to NV2 for ya...

That's why I'm holding off on it. I've had the parts since July... but I'm going to wait to install it until maybe next year.

Yeah...I just couldn't help myself though! It sucks because the extra power won't really help me in AutoX because I don't know how to control it anyway. BTW, check out the regional message boards for AZ for a meetup Nov 14th...You should def show up if you will be around!

Classic Chevy in Sugar Land wants $ 550.00 for the kit, and I am still waiting to hear about install time.

If you know of a "better hole" I am all ears !

Thanks !
