GT3076R Kit Complete
Well Im running the numbers together right now for mike to put up on New era's website.
It's going to be low-mid 2's.
We'll also sell just the modified turbo, gate, and DP adapter.
The kit came out well (ha the 3rd time, I'm so freaking ****), I worked VERY hard to keep the cost to a minimum while still using the best quality parts out on the market.
REAL garrett BB turbos (not cheap), REAL Tial gate's and stainless steel turbine housings. If it seems to cheap to be true- IT IS!
Garrett will throw you from the train if you sell cheaper then your told you can!
The kit will consist of:
1)Gt3076R
1)Tial SS housing modified for KO4 flange/VB44
1)oil feed line with restrictor for BB.
1)VB44 wastegate
1)mild steel dump pipe
1)Tial to Ko4 downpipe adapter (304L stainless) using proper Tial flange and V-band (again $$) It bears load so it must fit correctly.
1)4-3" elbow, silicone
1)3"neoprene flex section for intake
1)2.5" turbo to compressor piping stub (with recirc or BOV flange)
1)Bosch bypass valve
1)nessicary hoses and clamps.
1)6mm drill bit to enlarge oil drain bolt holes.
options will include:
Tial 50mm bov $215
Tial 50mm Q bov $245
Tial 50mm AlphaQ recirc $??-find out soon!
Dump pipe with muffler/flame arrestor(a small CAT) $??find out soon!
Original heat shield fits.
It re-uses the cast downpipe elbow, modifies and re-uses the intake for a nice sleeper look. It also means that no MAF transfer changes are nessicary, it will run fine even without tuning. Allowing you to safely drive it to your favorite local tuner to have it tweaked in for your car.
It re-uses the coolant lines, oil drain, and hardware. They just need a little hand tweaking.
The rear motor mount heat shield needs some bending to fit the rotated position of the down pipe.
Before some of you ask, yes. A gt3582R will fit in the exact same way. They are outline inter-changeable. However- the gt3582R exibits severe compressor surge if you boost over 22psi at 4400-5k. It wont make max boost until 4400rpm in 3rd, and pull until 8K.
THe Gt3582R will REQUIRE a secondary fuel system to get max power from it. This is due to the high rpm/high flow nature of the turbo. There simply isnt enough injection window on the intake stroke at that RPM to maintain AFR. So most of the fuel is injected on the compression stroke sending mixture prep/flame propagation to hell.
For more info on this phenomenon, check HPT forum. There's a thread that touches on it.
Force = pressure x area. Since neither have changed with a larger turbo, the stress is identical to stock with stock boost pressure ranges.
GMPP kit rocks 23psi. So the piping has to be at least that good.
Sure some have broke, but that's to be expected early in production. All parts dont come out identical.
I like how joes car does roll on burnouts in 2nd and 3rd with 600 lbs of dudes in it.

^^^ FC's do get away with a lot. Look my reason, why the hell would I want something blowing off everytime I change gear. I unerstand that from a performanve view it can help, but really most do it for the sound and if that's the case what make you any different than a ricer. My friend is to blame for my opinion and he's a GM.LOL
