head porting
anyone try to do there own porting yet? from what matt m was saying the intake ports need alot of work. the turn radius is more like a 90* angle. i was wondering if it was worth removing the head to do just a clean up without reworking the whole pocket.

I just got done porting my head the other day the short term was very bad the porting and polishing should help alottttttt. I even polished with 120 grit due to the fact we dont have to worry about fuel problems with the DI. I should have my block back from the machine shop this week and should be together soon il let you know how it works out

sweet, with the intake ports being dry i guess we can really smooth and polish the port walls since we dont have to worry about air and fuel mixing properly.
