Help?! No Boost?

I feel like a retard to ask.. but any idea why I have no boost suddenly? Installed Cia charge pipes tonight, everything is tight. Figured maybe one came loose, but they're still on there just fine. The vacuum hose that goes to the cold side is also still on.. It was fine until I merged onto the highway and it hit about 7 lbs of boost and then poof.. i have no turbo now at all.. didn't go ***** to the wall at all, was taking it easy on it to see if everything was ok. Got home, turned the car off and inspected the installation, couldn't find anything. When I restarted the car I had a CEL come on. Car had a kind of hot smell to it when it stopped boosting. It kinda sounded like a vacuum sucked something up, but I really can't see what it could've sucked up if it did. Would disconnecting the battery solve this issue or am I destined for a trip to the dealership? Kinda worried that the turbo's fried but it really shouldn't be imo. Anybody shed any light on this for me?

I know you checked, but check everything again including sensor's really sounds like big leak! which codes? Did you overtighten the clamps on the intercooler people have crushed the plastic end caps before!

How do I check codes? And I hope the intercooler plastic crap isn't crushed lol.
And if they are crushed.. why would that make the boost be nonexistent since it's still attached to the intercooler allowing air to pass? Idk.. just doesn't make sense but I'll go check in a minute.. so late.. so tired meh :/

We dont' have Autozone in Canada =/

Bottom cold side to the intercooler.. it's not lining up correctly.. gonna have to start from scratch on it tomorrow.. can't get underneath the car at my place, I'll have to go back to buddy's tomorrow and throw it up on the ramps again to work on it.. This bottom bitch is a real *****... the rubber tubes are so damn sticky it's hard to move them around once they're in place, especially in such a limited amount of space to work. Top side wasn't too terribly bad, but this bottom ***** took 4x as long as the top side and it's still not right. It's like the geometry just doesn't fit properly. Hafta undo the clamps and try to move it around into place again.. thought I had it the first time after hours of struggling just to get it in there the 2nd time.. 1st time I had to take it back off cuz the sensor hole was too small to fit the sensor in; had to take it off and use a small grinder to make it fit.. getting it back into that hole the 2nd time was so much harder.. Idk why. Not a pleasant job in any way.. no give to the pipe and no give to the damn rubber connectors, or very little since they stick like glue to the tubing. Another hour or two and the issue should be solved, providing it didn't damage the turbo.. shouldn't have but who knows?
I'll probably disconnect the battery to be safe, but is it necessary? Probably to reset the CEL I'm guessing.. Idk w/e I'll just do it.
Tired, frustrated, and pissed off. Hopefully when I upgrade the intercooler.. it'll be much easier.. but that's not for at least another year anyways.

if u want to make it easier to get the "rubber things" on, boil them in water, they go right on and u have some time to move em around before they cool off and shrink back to normal.

The opennings for the sensors are meant to be a tight fit and if the mating surfaces are not perfect you'll get a boost leak. Take the stock one with you just incase!. And something to help you with the silicon elbows lightly spray them with a dishsoap solution they'll move around a little easier

Ya it's fixed up... the bottom pipe wasn't aligned correctly and came off after only 7 lbs of boost.. had to twist it with some elbow grease.. no soap or boilling or anything used to move **** around but that probably would've been nice to know b4 doing the job lolz.. It's fine now.. pulls harder.. all good cept I might need a tune.. I think it'll be ok tho until I get more stuff. Thx guys

Had the same problem with the Injen CP, not lining it up correctly. Had to make sure it was lined up straight as an arrow and not in a crocked angle, otherwise I will guarantee it will pop off again. Your CEL would be your P101 dealing with the MAF sensor trying to calculate the fuel trims, which is why its on. So just unhook your battery for about a minute to get your fuel trims reseted and the CEL will be gone.
