For anyone questioning the amount of logs it takes to get a car tuned spot on - Be happy that the person is willing to continue revisiting them and fine tweaking things.

I was able to get my car where I wanted after 5-6 logs or so. However, I'm always logging and always watching out for fueling trends and have probably made 30-40+ changes for things like boost, timing, fueling, etc. IE Meticulous.

For those saying that it took James 30+ logs to make a car run well, I highly doubt this.
30+ logs to fine tune and make sure it's damn near perfect? Absolutely.

No matter how finely tuned your car is, there are so many stupid little variables that can change things that will need to be monitored, some requiring slight tweaks. This is not a bad thing? The car will still perform well and be "safe" (pending your tune of course) but it won't be perfect.

I was able to remote tune a gentleman in Illinois and his car runs well/hard right now in winter as it did in the summer after only 6-8 logs. Is his tune perfect? Absolutely not but does it run hard without major fueling errors and KR? You betcha. If he was logging all day, every day and sending me files, only then could it be absolutely perfect. By the way, he does send me periodic updates to keep an eye on things. About time for another

I'm not taking anyones sides here, nor am I willing to bash anyone. It's simple, unless you're logging daily, recording data and looking at trends to provide some insight to your tuner, your car will never be 100% perfect.

Not to bash Vince or Trifecta but do you believe his tunes are 100% perfect? Again, absolutely not. Well within safe limits but performing? Thats subjective due to people tuning cars with issues or not logging enough but I'd venture to say most likely.

Because a car may be stock but compression can be higher or lower, and filter can be dirty, or a small leak somewhere that isn't seen or heard and so on so things are different.

But technically not many logs would be needed..
James, appreciate the response!

You didnt log in the same "COURSE" every time. Your car was dialed in way before 30. Check it out if youd like, i changed dals a few times, wgdc, timing, afr, rampo, etc to make you a happier camper. and when i do that i want logs... Plain and simple... Litterally. Things were added and removed.

But anyways what matters is your happy I have counteless people running __ tune and are happy as can be and some were term, byt, and so one before i. pINT IS THEY ARE HAPPY. get on with your life..

I stated my points you stated yours. Even after we were dialed in my car didn't drive right.

I moved on no need to dwell on the past. Like I said many time James is a good guy I just didn't like his tune. My experience may be different than others but they are mine to judge and I judged them poorly.
