I'm thinking I should start a build thread. Guess this is it.

so guys I found the timing limit on my meth setup. last log of the night I logged 22.5 degrees timing and I got 1.5 degrees retard. my limit is 21 with no knock from other log. but I will be setting it at a safer 19 I think. damn this direct port and one step colder plug sure did help. got a full forth gear pull today, damn thing gave me a small anxiety attack lol the adrenaline is back. I am very impressed.

If you can DIY mechanical mount a pump, tank, tap one hole, read instructions and do wiring of 6 wires using a fuse, than it has an excellent 'Torque per Dollar' value and some may argue safety factor. LNF benefits from port valve cleaning action if you set the boost switch lower. Run a smaller jet makes the tank last a long time and if you have an electronic boost controller some methanol systems can send a signal out to trip the boost controller or kill it's power with a relay. I used a water/methanol tube bung and E6000 adhesive on my stock washer tank (3 years still holding). I also run a kit on the Cruze missile, that poor 1.4T needs it if you want to run timing in the teens.

Ohh dont get me wrong my car is far from stock now (as you can see on my sig) and I still have plans like zzp upgraded hpfp and cams. Already have the valve springs.
i already had the meth system but I ended up selling it. so I know the gains to be had with meth on the car. I dont want to go crazy and make the car unreliable as I mentioned my car is my daily. Also 500 whp on stock engine is asking for trouble after sometime

From what iv seen in the past its not a whole lot cooler. Like 10 degrees , which is actually very helpful. Its the exhaust temp that it effects alot, by a few hundred degrees.
