Angry

Okay, not to my suprise its leaking pretty good. I figured it would be seeing theres so many people on here with the same problem.

Im going to the dealer tomorrow AM and its not going to be pleasant seeing theres a real **** list of problems starting to generate...

1.)Front rotors are no good (and still havent been fixed)
2.)Rear pads and rotors are junk (and havent been fixed)
3.)Wheel bearing at LR is no good.
4.)Suspension is squeaking like crazy. (probably just the cold but still..)
5.)Sunroof is rattling and squeaking badly.

Some arent major problems, however, they are 5 problems non the less. 5 problems with a still brand new car with just over 6000mi and less than a year on it. 5 problems that GM hasnt been able to fix, which is the main problem!

Dont get me wrong I am a huge GM guy and have owned 6 Chevys in my 5 years of driving, but this is getting aggravating.

here u can add defective block to ur list, full motor warrentied, thats right, 1800km and i get a new motor.
and the squeeking suspention is the cold, it will do that on every car. so thats not really a problem.

they should not build any cars on mondays and fridays, cause im sure thats where the problems come from, monday everyone is hungover, friday everyone wants to go home and party. lol lol

if the motor was made in japan, true it would run for 400k with no issues

but also it would only make about 110lb of torque also!

So I went to the dealer today to find out about both the oil leak from the sensor, and where the !@#$ my rear brake pads are!

I have an appointment Friday to have the oil leak checked out, and supposedly the parts manager will have an answer then on the pads. I have a nice service writer but he really seems clueless. I guess we'll see what happens Friday.

Just got off the phone with my local dealer...apparently this is not uncommon which indicates it may affect other models as well... I guess the take home message here is - if you drive a chevy then look into it... it is probably leaking...

Do the 05-06 2.2L engines have this. I have noticed random oil in that exact place on my car. But i thought the cam sensor was only on 07-09 2.2L engines. SO hell maybe it's something else.

Mine is leaking to and it is preaty bad considering that i have only 5,000 mi on my car and I have cleaned in there once or twice. I thought I just splashed some oil in there when I changed my oil last time at first, but on closer examination I can see exactly where it is coming from.

Hey. Calling all TC owners go check under your high pressure fuel pump see if you are leaking oil. It is kinda hard to see in there even during the day so get a flashlight. this seems to be a real problem.

Bump. All TC owners need to check under their high pressure fuel pump.

I would fix it now. All that oil is leaking into the wiring for the sensor with can cause the signal to fail. I dont think the car would run very well if the cam position sensor fails to work. I m going to the dealer tomorrow mornng for that and my rear brake caliper griding into the rotor.
