A side note is to be careful when tightening the worm clamps. Mainly the one on the intake side. Its very easy to crush the thin wall aluminum that they use. I've had a number of these intake comes in crushed.

I don't think they can simply void it because you have an SRI. Pretty sure they have to demonstrate that your SRI was the root cause of whatever warranty claim you are making.

a dealer can deny warrenty without proof. its just up to the person to try and fight it because if you dont your warrenty will be denied. like tommy said. its proven that they cause issues and theres a lot of morons that drive these cars that think its ok to modify the car without proper tuning behind it. kind of like the blow off valve deal that people think you dont need other modifications to make it work completely right and keep driving it whileit spikes rich and so forth and so forth. intakes are simple enough to return back to stock...actually almost every bolt on is simple enough to change out to take your car back warrenty work and thats how it shouldbe be brought in to avoid issues.

According to K&N's site, the Typhoon SRI is not street legal in NJ due to adopted CA emissions?????
