LNF Adjustable Launch Control by Trifecta
Vince is the man, when Phase 2 comes out for the 09 getting the tune, with the cable, and this launch control as well. sweet. I launch 2k ~ 2,500 rpm... thats usually a hit or miss but when i hit, i make the guy beside me say damn, thats a fwd? Happened 2 times so far.. lol
Officially the first one to have Vince tune this to a car other then his own, and works perfect. like he stated earlier. When i Launch the RPM's show 4800 like its supposed to stock, but just listening to the car you can tell that its actually at a lot lower RPM then it says and soon as your moving it corrects itself to what it should be. Had mine adjusted to 2500 RPM. haven't had the opportunity to truly test it cause of 2 cops driving next to me when i was in a hurry but i will post back on how it works later on this weekend when i get the car out..

Now I see why Vince hasn't even worked on my first datalog yet. Its been a week and he hasn't sent me anything. He's flooded with these requests lol. Maybe I should ask him to do mine that way too.
That was the first thing I thought after Vince posted this thread, **** I'm gonna be waiting in line now

In a way this works out for me, I'll get my airbox mod done and get my Treadstone installed before he sends my first retune back so it'll be easier to get up to speed with everything, but yeah I'm a little impatient about it.
Hey Vince, My car is an early april 08 model and launch control is 5,000 on it also. Also another 08 with you're tune here is 5,000 rpm so some 08's and 09's have 4,500, 4,800 and 5,000 factory settings that is weird.

you guys are brilliant. Im gonna be getting a trifecta tune this summer. I can't wait! I've heard so many great things! and my friend Josh was trifecta tuned on his pontiac g5 a few years back. He only said great things.
mine is 5k or thereabout, I checked it last night... and I pretty much knew there would be a wait on this as well, lol....
what sucks is i'll be staying out of town all next week... oh well, guess the laptop and EZ flash will have to get packed up with the rest of my s***, lol

Update!
Those waiting for log analysis/tune updates will appreciate this. ;-)
Partly due to the number of launch control adjustment requests we received, and partly because ultimately we wanted to do this anyway, we've decided to roll all the changes into EZ Flash so anybody with EZ Flash and the tune file for their vehicle can adjust their launch control RPM anytime they want:

There's a new drop-down in EZ Flash that allows you to select the launch control "adjustment". We had to use percentages rather than actual RPM values because some people's cars launch control at different RPM than others.
So, for example, if your car launch controls at 4500 RPM, if you select 50%, it will then launch control at 2250 RPM instead.
We need to finish up the testing on this, but I expect to have this update released by the end of the weekend.
