This is awesome.

Recently my tune install business has picked up, installed on a Tahoe last night and have a couple of silverado's asking a bunch of questions. Also have 2 lsj's waiting on parts to get tuned as well... but THIS update will drum up some more LNF business for me as well as improve my own ride. I'm happy!

 

I have it and will be running a full test on my 2010 tomorrow. I should have a video up by tomorrow evening.

 

I have Vince changing a few other things about my tune as well, but being able to change this on the fly with the EZ flash will be great

 

I guess Ill need to Update my dealer software.

yea that was me. i was speaking to i am broke about it. it worked fine, even when NLS'ing!
need sticky tires when running it though. after releasing the clutch it just blows the tires free!

I have it on my car but I have a couple issues with it. Im going to let Vince know, Im sure it's dumb crap. But when I switch to LC, the RPM on the dash drops to 500rpm but the sound of the engine doesn't change. When I set it to 2500, its more like 1250. I now have it at 4K and the actual LC is around 2500.

 

Yeah I'm going to hook up my LM-2 to get an accurate reading of what % change will = a certain RPM on my car. I'm not sure what mine is at when in LC because I just did that video really quick to make sure it worked, but I set it to what should have been 2500 and it bogged really bad.

 

I did a couple launches on it, worked fine but worthless LOL. Tires just spin like mad..

 

I tried 2500 on my car and it bogged pretty bad, too. I might use that setting for launching on wet pavement. LOL

If you have a dashawk or interceptor (or you're datalogging via OBD2) the RPM will be correct (actual).

 

That's interesting. Basically whatever value you put in the cell for (in HPT) Park/Neutral under Fuel Cutoff RPM vs. Gear (Incr) is what the launch control adjustment will (or rather should) be. We used this cell so people using our layer could take advantage of this feature, but it relies on us making an assumption that seems to vary from vehicle to vehicle.

 

And it was the Normal Table to adjust it, not the incr table.

Rare occasions I get it to hook up at 5k, everything stock. But my conti are almost warn out in the 4,000 km I put on during the summer. They seem soft..

 

Ah, well thanks for reporting on that. My software calls the rev limit tables "Rev Limiter Vs Gear 1" and "Rev Limiter Vs Gear 2".

When you adjust this do you just keep the laptop hooked up untill you get it right ?

 

Yes, basically. Adjusting it requires an ECM reflash (with EZ Flash if you're running our tune, or HPT if you are using our layer), but you could bring your laptop with you, make an adjustment, test it, and try a different setting if it didn't work.

 

Do I need my tune updated or just my EZ Flash dealer software or both

 

Nope, you just need the EZ Flash update, once it is ready.
