It is interchangeable but it's a lower final drive. Sort of a downgrade in that regard.

Okay reason for buying it is because I plan to get it built to handle the power and put the 4.45 gear ratio in it

No no. Downgrade? Different final drive that will save your tranny more then the stock tc final drive will. I'm gonna get a 4.05 tranny just incase my stocker blows ever. I owned a SC befor my TC and I liked the tranny gearing just fine.

I'm sending my lnf tranny to powell and getting the 4.45 gears in it I want the tranny to be able to take the power 3 gear is weak point in the 3.82 final drive

4.45 is not 100%. You can blow any of the 3 depending on your driving, clutch and tune. Depending on your power goals u might just need to get a F40 swap instead of mabe blowing a 4.45. Just a warning my dude.

Yeah but 2.7+ 7k for the F40 after u blow a 4.45 is 9.7k. Doing the f40 now save 2.7k. I'm just saying watch your foot and tune haha

F40 is overrated and expensive as ****, there are more advantages to a 4.45 F35 than it being a little stronger.
Now an F40 with a 4.45 final drive would be awesome.\

So in your guys opinion is it worth buying another tranny or just watch my foot and try not to slam gears when it doesn't wanna go in? Or should I just have the 3.82 just sent to powell and do the magic on the stock gears to get a little more life span out of them?

What are your power goals?? If your gonna be pushing the car its always a good idea to have spare parts.

To be clear, you can do an f40 swap for around 3500 if zzp ever releases the god damn kit. Don't know where the hell this $7k figure came from. If you wanna pinch your pennies and don't have time to wait on zzp, 445 is best option. John builds them for cheap IMO. The F35 is a bitch to work on and assemble to spec.
