Oh wait I forgot to include a clever smilie face....
It's not uncommon to even see a high mileage LSJ ion redline or SS/SC that has been turbo/TVS/MP90 swapped or on spray with GMPPS3 on the stock LSJ clutch with no real issues! It's all in how it's driven! Cause at the same time there are people who have had a replacement clutch under warranty and then decide to take it to the 1/4 and break it in less than 1K miles then cry foul cause they cant drive properly! Ive seen it before! Anything is possible but at those power levels id be more worried about the trans holding but there are instances of them being just fine, And people going through more than one transmission!

There not the same clutch! and i dont agree with having to heat the stock Lsj clutch to get it grab properly as i think it's just driver error! there are quite a few high mileage LSJ's on the redline forums still on a factory clutch that have had many passes down the 1/4 and many auto X events as well with no glazing reported...

Not sure if any of your post was directed at me and I'm not looking to argue, so I'll say this and leave it be. The link I posted is exactly for what you're describing, drive the car properly I.E shift higher in the RPMs, get off the clutch as quickly as possible etc. Has nothing to do with heating the clutch up or anything of the sorts. It was also written by an SS/SC owner and was aimed at the SS/SC crowd but I believe it applies to the SS/TC as well due to the fact that it produces so much more torque in the lower revs, especially when tuned.

As you said, fix your driver error and the clutches in both the SS/SC and SS/TC can handle just about anything you throw at them, within reason.

I suck, make a thread and not get on the site for a couple days. Like I said, I'm still on the stock tune and haven't did any performance mods yet. The car is still under warranty. Should I just take it to a dealer?

Anybody else think the slave cylinder just needs flushed?

BUt utnil it starts slipping i cant justify throwing in a KY stage 3 or zzp stage 4... Not sure if it is even on its last leg because of this or just doesnt feel good..
This explains it perfect. Opinions from anybody else?

You have almost no shot at getting a clutch warrantied.

my post was not directed at anyone in particular. YOu cant say the same rules apply to the SS/TC to the SS/SC as they do not have the same clutch! Gm put a stronger clutch in the SS/TC cause of more HP and TQ stock. Let alone stage one TC numbers! Drive the car properly which is not east in a high HP/TQ FWD application and you will have no issues! I had traction bar's and solid mounts and still snapped an axel at the strip in 07. YOu live and you learn cause after that i did not launch the car really hard from a dig after that!
