LNF upgrade kit?

just a thought.......so if a GM stage kit comes out....is it possible that the piping and/or IC might make it impossible to put the stage kit on? We keep hearing that all it is is a tune and new 02 sensors or something but that would SUCK to buy and install piping and IC (and planned to put a full exhaust on.... and have to take something off or mickey mouse fabricate something bc the sensors dont work on a aftermarket dp/exhaust....etc thinking out loud. I've put my name in the hat for the combo GB for piping and IC this I'm lookin for some answers if anyone can help with some info.

It's not a question of fitting... My SS/SC's key fits in my SS/TC's ignition, that still doesn't mean it will start it...

2009 so that means 08 and 09 are both included on the stage 2 kit, i'm guessing the stage 1 is the intake/exhaust and maybe a minor tuning adjustment??

Now when they start putting the LNF in place of the EFI HFV6, then we'll know its here to stay. I am just waiting to hear the first news that the G6/Malibu/Aura or CTS or the Colorado/canyon is geting LNF power, once that happens we'll know its here to stay. Anything else just isnt really enough volume to warrant being excited about its long life, Ive pointed out, regretably, that the LNF application isnt listed as being current for 2010. This is either very bad, or good as it could portend that the LNX rumours are true.

SEMA show release info in November.
The Cobalt kit will be 315 hp @ 4800 rpm [+55] = GM Part number 19212670.
The kit for 290 hp @ 5200 rpm [+30] is for the HHR with an automatic transmission.
"The Californa Air Resources Board (CARB) published a CARB cert for this tune today. It was executed on Aug 22nd. This means that this tune will be 50 state legal, does in fact exist, and is probably close to release.
From the cert:
"The LNF Turbocharged Ecotec Upgrade Kit includes a calibration update, two mass air flow/intake air temperature sensors (TMAP sensors) to replace the stock manifold absolute pressure sensor and the TMAP sensor, and installation hardware."
The hardware part number is 12626990.
The calibration part numbers are:
2007 auto trans : 12625958
2007 manual trans : 12625959
2008 auto trans without electronic vacuum pump for brake assist : 12625952
2008 manual trans without electronic vacuum pump for brake assist : 12625954

Not sure how much the hardware and calibration will cost but I'm assuming the huge majority of the cost would be the kit cost and $650 seems very reasonable to me. I'm guessing all parts and labor installed has GOT to be $1,000 or less. Thoughts???

muahahaha i love these specs for the MT in the Solstice/Sky, should be similar on the Cobalt
Solstice HHR Stage kit for the LNF 2.0 Turbocharged engine. This stage kit increases horsepower to 290HP @5,200 RPM
Solstice torque ratings:

19212670 is the part number for the kit, dealer list is $650 as stated, its not available at all right now and if its ordered the order will be canceled by GM
The parts dept cant find the calibrations by part number because calibration numbers arent regular part numbers, they arent "orderable" its just a software designation.
