I second this. Although it didn't start screaming like a dying turbo does, it still needs to be checked out.

I agree with kmo- you may not want to know what they say, but you still need to be sure before you sell that k04.

I'd suggest to use your exhaust manifold from the lnf. The ldk is slightly different and would stress your downpipe more.

I would not use the ldl manifold. It sits an inch higher then the lnf. None if the shielding fits, you will need to extend the drain etc etc

Did the shorten the LDK manifold runners? or just a random GM design change?

I am curious about why the CPS switch. I didn't (never heard of switching before now) and I don't have any issues that I'm aware of.

Only reason I couldmthink of was if the plug on the engine harness were different...I'll ask Jeffrey
why.

I mean, it's easily done. I'm more curious if it's something I need to do (I sold mine believing it wasn't necessary).

Jeffrey said the plug is different. Maybe they changed something since you bought yours? Who knows. I'll try it out this weekend and report back.

I see you've got the brake booster pump on the LDK as well. You should hook that up, reach supermod baller status.

ECaulk is way ahead of you on this one, and is already looking into how to eliminate lag and improve my lap times with that thing

..

I have the LDK manifold. I hate the higher turbo height and stress on downpipe/drain hose that doesn't fully seat. I'm going to swap in an LNF manifold. I put the engine/manifold turbo in the car all as one. How hard is it to remove/reinstall an exhaust manifold in car? Just wondering how tight everything is and if theres room to pull the manifold out, I don't know if anyones ever had reason to remove a manifold. I d love to hear if so. Sorry to hijack thread

I don't think it's possible to do without removing the turbo, so add 30-60min to a turbo swap job.

Yuck. I don't know its worth that much work. I think I may just lengthen my return line ( either fab or nipple in middle) and use rubber exhaust hangers instead of my poly's to give the exhaust some breathing room. Wish I knew the difference before the swap. Again, sorry to hijack

I want to say we had to order it from zzp, it's a non standard thread. This is from my two years ago so could be wrong, but I know zzp does sell one.
