Omg this thread is old and you bumped it

AS of your problem, When you pull your map sensors out are they all full of oil? and all the wires open and showing or are they covered?

Sorry man :/ first time using the site. And my map sensor on the top of the intake always has an oil film on it. This problem just only occurs when it's warmer outside. Never checked wires going from it.

I've been having the same problem as you for years now and have no idea how to fix it. The top map keeps getting oil on it and the car bucks terribly when it's really hot or humid out. I don't want to get rid of the car but I'm getting really annoyed with it.

Lucky for you I have found the solution to my years of problems. For the oil on the map sensor only in the summer time it's cause the oil is thinner and splatters on the map sensor more. So I bought a MPx oil catch can from modern preformance. Slapped it on and my 107 and random misfire codes never came back. It's nice to actually cruise in my car again. Give that a shot.

The catch can worked? I've read countless posts on here saying that they're a waste of money and they don't catch anything.

I mean works not really the right word, it fixed my PO107 and random misfires. I mean I'm on week 2 and I still haven't found any oil in my catch can. So it's working well for me. I mean it's worth a shot for only $120.
